What "meg" settings would you recommend for my PC? (notebook)

i5-3340M 2,70GHz (integrated GPU)

8 GB RAM

SSD

Currently I'm using

com_hunkmegs 512
com_soundmegs 160
com_zonemegs 24

and it seems to lag at times, especially when there are more players... Or maybe that's connection issue? My cfg was working better on previous Windows versions (currently I'm on 10)

Generally, you want each value to be proportional to the other. Hunkmegs is obviously always going to be the largest value, with (if I remember correctly) 1/2 of the hunkmegs value then going to zone megs, and 1/4 going to zone (1/2 of the 1/2 value).

Your zonemegs is low, but having hunkmegs that high can cause the game to start "paging"- which means it's using virtual memory. That'll cause choppiness. We'll start with raising zonemegs, see if that helps.

So with hunkmegs at 512, you'd probably look at:

/com_hunkmegs 512

/com_zonemegs 256
/com_soundmegs 128

SO.... how would I set mine or what else would I want to change now that I have 32Gb Ram?
