ET jittery and un-startable (HALP!)

Hallo peeps!

 

I have been working entirely too much as of late, and then when I sat down to enjoy a bit of my holy and most sacred Wolfenstein ET, I find that my client, upon reaching the main screen, goes all stuttery and my mouse freezes for long laggy periods (unplayable, can't even click things consistently) and I have to alt+tab and shut it down.  I miss the =F|A=MILY!  Can anyone offer wisdom?

Delete the files in your <mod><username><profile> folder in the ET Directory

/reconnect (or better yet, quit and restart)

I have all the latest Win 10 updates and no problems

maybe there is a conflict created by 2 binds the same, I have something else

My last advice installs

 

  new ET

 

uses the default cfg and try connecting to a server FA

its probably a simple connection setting or video card setting that just have to be enabled I think with this its solved. anyway let us know if it did.

i was having the same problems my screen actually froze like every second and wouldnt repsond, i ended up installing etlegacy which does not seem to like jaymod lol so i did a bit of web search and if you copy the contents of wolf etmain folder into etlegacy's etmain folder and delete the etlegacy folder u can launch the game

 

so yes install etlegacy when u do it will have an etmain folder

do as above then delete the etlegacy folder 

the game will still have the legacy icon, the game is as normal but alot of glitches, sound,num keypad u cant use, the pointer in Limbo etc is upside down lol.

 

im no com wiz but if u want a game with practically lag free gaming then etlegacy worked for me.

 

oh p.s save your cfg and etkey but i cant promise u the etkey will still work :/
