I have always played on my family's laptop, until I got my own 2 years ago. It actually is not as bad as people say it is. It is just not good for running other high end games, or it will either run on lowest settings or take a while for the laptop to get used to running :/

yeah I play on my laptop and it works and plays great! also great quality which made me very happy

Mind if I ask what your laptop's specs are? Keep in mind that ET was released in good ol' 2003.

It's a whopping k55vd with an i7 in it, but it has some innate graphic card which is too pathetic to name. Also, it's not very good with heath. But that's Asus for you. It overheats when you try and open 2 word documents.

Then the question is if you really want to boil water on your laptop while playing et.

Still depends on which brand, and even more which model you choose (i do agree, that it can cost few bucks though)

I just have a regular 2014 windows hp model. idk my specs tho :/
