OnionKnight Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Cars - last two years I have owned, crushed and wrecked 92 Thunderbird Lx (skidded of a dirt road, pushed down 5 trees, sold), 89 Crown Vic LTD (jumped it, blew the tires off, sold), 93 Asuna Sunrunner (still own, rebuilt engine last year), 86 Chevy Camaro (still own, restored), 84 Chevy Camaro (had salvage title, drove it on my farm like mad, stripped and crushed). Currently looking for a Trans am or Fiero or 1st generation MR2 (that isn't rusted to hell) Anime - I like anime.....weirdness prevails . Baccano is my favourite from the bunch. Lego - I have this thing for chinese knock off lego. Downright funny. Video Games - I play everything. But my least favourite would have to be strategy because I just get rolled. Problem is I only have played only over half of the games I own. 5 Quote

Thule Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Beyond gaming, shooting sports (e.g., trap, skeet, target shooting) and related (e.g., home gunsmithing, etc.), hiking, gardening, and reading. Due to having two small children, working super long hours, and taking care of the house and land, I don't do much in the way of hobbies most weeks, but I try to squeeze in some when I can. Years ago, I used to fish and catch crayfish, but I don't have the time or inclination any more. 4 Quote
Raw64life Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Video games. Life long hobby. I've had every major system, console, handheld, PC since the original Nintendo (exclusive Xbox systems, all their "exclusives" come to PC a year later). ET is really the only multiplayer FPS that really hooked me. I generally play action games, RPG games and fighters most of the time. 2 Quote

Good luck on scoring body parts..or is there a aftermarket following? Fiero isn't that bad believe it or not. My way of scoring body parts for any old car, is to buy another old car that is an absolute gremlin and gut any trim, doors, mirrors, switches, hood ..etc. When I am done, just the broken shit is left and I send it away to a friend who crushes cars for a living. I did that for camaro parts with my 84 that I crushed (mostly just interior trim, dash pad, bumper cover...etc). But long term it is more effort but way cheaper. A dashpad sells for $250 mint on ebay. If the car has one close to mint and can be restored, its worth buying for $800 just to gut it and crush it (best ones are salvage cars that nobody wants. I jump on those in a heartbeat) This my latest installment on mini bike stuffsIMG_20160331_120908.jpgIMG_20160411_142709.jpgIMG_20160411_142604.jpgIMG_20160411_165124.jpg showing little 97cc 2.5 HP engine of 2009 doodlebug mini..the silver aluminum plate jackshaft gearing kit inverting clutch for alighnment..added to give the little putt putt some grunt the final sprocket size equvalent around 85 teeth..I don't bother with ratio count...top speed lowered from 28 or so to around 18 or 20..scoots on lawn..gets sguirrely on breaking and corners..fun! Imagine if you welded two together side by side . That would be a hilarious ride "TURN left...NO NOT RIGHT...GRRR" 2 Quote
Post(?)Organic Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 through my combination of hobbies im hoping to become the most powerful wizard that i can, i think im well on my way video games: this ones a given for pretty much every single person on these forums and im of course no exception, probably the hobby ive spent both the most time and money on. ill play pretty much any genre but lean heavily towards rpgs and j-rpgs anime and manga: very much a consumer of my time and money over the last 5 or so years, thousands of dollars worth of the stuff sitting around my room of all sorts of genres again, im not a very fussy person as it turns out magic the gathering: more of a collection hobby than anything else since im abysmal at the game and really just like getting cards for the fantastic artwork they have reading: again a given since all the manga, but ive started to get into reading actual books again too which is nice wrestling: this is a hobby ive flip-flopped on for at least 8 or so years at this point, got back into it again recently and this time i think it'll stick, especially considering the rise of the indy promotions over the years and the influx of actual good talent into the dubyadubyaee 4 Quote

SiD Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Video Games - I play everything. But my least favourite would have to be strategy because I just get rolled. Problem is I only have played only over half of the games I own. Get on my level scrub. Haaaaah. OT: Ain't too much that I do for hobbies these days. No motivation to do anything. Even gaming is taking a back seat. Debated on selling off the Steam account. Used to enjoy gaming, sig making and vid making. But just seems like a waste of time. Enjoy a bit of console gaming now and then. Comic collecting (have hundreds), and collecting a lot of gaming memorabilia. LoZ collection is pretty big. 3 Quote
