no no, you got the almighty Scott Gomez!

I'm from Quebec too but I hate the Montreal Canadians :). it's good to see them fail like this after all their fans thought they would win the Stanley Cup at the beginning of the season haha

It's just a joke :<

Cool, I pray for the Nordiques return too, you will kick our ass. Nordiques fan ?

People who really thought that we would win the stanley cup even with our streak doesn't know a lot about hockey.

I was a little young when the Nordiques left, but yeah I would definitely cheer for the Nordiques if they came back! And I live in Quebec city sooooo xD

Yeah agree Kuemper gave couple easy goal, but he is Kuemper that kind goals he just give, when he is hot he is good, but when not he is not even good back up goalie he is too irregular. I think if we not go to playoffs we should kick all coatch except Bob Mason our goalie coach, i think he is NHL best goalie coach if u look our goalie History (from time what i followed Wild) we had

Roloson who Mason get play his best hockey and spark his career played several good seasons after leaving from Wild example Finals in Edmonton and solid season in Tampa.

Manny Fernandez played his best hockey in Wild, was mean to be Boston starter, lost role to Thomas and had to retire because poor game only couple year after leaving from Wild

Bäckström was dominating EU series and World championship hockeys before signing Wild, continue his great game in Wild and was Vezina finalist, Mason did great job with him.

Harding played very well and was good back up, showed that he can be starter too when Bäckström had injuries but MS force Harding to retire too soon.

Theodore, Mason spark his career back to track, was playing well in Wild and got starter role in Florida where he played one very good season before he lost touch again and had to retire

Bryzgalov didnt play enough games in Wild

Kuemper, whole pro career he was back up, but Mason got him play well and was starter of Wild shortly and beging last seasom with 3 shutout from first four game

Dubnyk, played so well under Mason that got Vezina nomination, time to time Mason get him play like Vezina winner.

Btw Reimer was traded to SJ, Reimer has played his whole NHL career behind poor defence group, i think someone can get starter on him in next summer, Maloyne Arizona GM might sign him, when i think that SJ use him in rental player role, but he can challange Jones if SJ give him opportunity, we havent see whole skill level of Reimer yet because he has played his whole career behind poor defencesive team, its also good to remember that in only season when Toronto was in playoffs Reimer had good stats

Agree on everything you said !

About Reimer tho, i really think he is underrated. I saw him win games by himself even with poor defenseman in front of him. He can be a real brick wall.

It's good to see him go with SJ, he will be able to provve his full potential. Very good for him, finnaly a real team in front.

Well for now, San Jose only got him cause he's a better #2 than Stalock. Every time Stalock played they lost. They couldn't let Jones rest any games. They need every 2 pts they can get.

Jones will keep his #1 spot unless he starts playing really awful. The reason for getting Reimer is to give more rest to Jones for the playoffs.

True Reimer havent show whole potential, thing where he need be better is that he should be more regular, but that is possible in better team.

Yep Reimer is second goalie for SJ and can make 3-4 milj contract in next summer for some team who need goalie.

Atm there is ongoing minor goalie generational, mean that there is coming and has come many young goalies in league, it has couple year when we last time see some new starter in NHL, long time NHL did go with they current goalies, but now there is coming a lot good goalies. Goalies who already has played well in NHL, Hellebuyck (WPG), Korpisalo (CLB) Murray (PIT) Mrazek (DET) Condon (MTL) Spark (TOR) Picard (COL) Domingue (ARI) Jones (SJ) and Markström (VAN). List is long and you have go at least 4-5 year back, before you can see so huge goalie gerational in NHL, ofc Domingue is more back up goalie material, and its too earlie to say who will eventually take number one slot in NHL, but at least back up goalie situation has changed and fast. I think i never see this type of season when so many young goalie has played they breakthrough season, and when you remember what kind super potential goalies mist on my list, when not enough good games yet in NHL, example Saros (only one NHL game) Raanta, and Vasilievsky. Current (older) back up goalies can have hard time to find new job in NHL in the near future, goalie like Hiller could start next season without contract.

Will make better Goalie look when season closing to end, but here is couple team who should fix they goalie situation before trade deadline and couple goalie who might swap team.

Montreal, could try to find new back up goalie to help Condon, names like Raanta, Zatkoff and Bäckström can be possible trades.

Toronto could even try to get new big number one goalie to they group, if they get chance to do it in this year they do it, but if not then they do it in summer, in summer i think they first pick would be Elliott, but now trade deadline possibilitys are S. Mason, Howard, Lehtonen or Pavelec.

Colorado, might try look some trade, Varlamov havent play well and it has been team weak point, both back up goalies has played better than Varlamov, but they will not trade Varlamov before summer because they might go to playoffs, back up goalies with experience can interest team, Hiller, Ward, Enhroth or Pavelec could be possible names.

Arizona, probably by out Smith contract or try trade him in summer, probably will try find good goalie who could be starter too, Domingue played well, but they still need better goalie game, possible names, Raanta, Mason, Howard, Lehtonen, Pavelec, Vasilievsky, Miller or Hiller.

Calgary, i waiting to see what they do with Rämö, if they sign/trade some big name in summer or in trade deadline that mean era of Rämö in Calgary is end, but i have feeling that they might re-sign Rämö, what mean that they probably look good goalie who can play in starter also, but would be back up in next season, team is big need of goalie, team probably have biggest need of goalie atm, possible names: Andersen (ANA), Mason, Howard, Vasilievsky, Pavelec or Enhroth.

Edmonton Brossoit current back up after Nilsson trade has played well in AHL and in couple games in NHL (this and last year) so they might give him chance to be back up goalie and show his skill in NHL lvl. Will solve goalie situation in summer.

YES great won by boys, well earned, we played good and solid two-way game, only problem is that our PK it has allowed 5 goal from last 8 PK meaning 37,5 PK% Now to sleep its 01:00 AM already in here :)

As u can see from my SS (taken from Pro Hockey magazine) goalies save percantes has icreased every year and its 1,5 bigger than after full season lock out season, when NHL made big updates to rules what was end off "death hockey" era, because now we can see only 5,2 goal per game (lowest since 2013-2014) NHL is planning big update to NHL goalie gears, it would be interesting to see how big is effect and that probably give some new goalies chanse to take starter role in NHL and some it can mean in end of NHL career also. In my mind it will be short time effect and if NHL really want see more goals in games they should reward teams who make more goals, example if winning team make 4 goal or more it would get 3 point from victory, or 5 goal or more if 4 is too low, that encourage teams to attack and try goal more, example in situations where they lead 3-1

It has already surprised me of how many trades we have saw, now days all most all have NTC or NMC and Salary cap make trades almost impossible but we have seen several "big" trades already, i dont wait to see a lot in today (trade deadline day), but maybe couple, it has been very quiet start.

https://twitter.com/TSNBobMcKenzie/status/703989303966175232

Berra is put to waiwers, i wait that Calgary will take him and that can "solve" they goalie problem, never liked Berra because he is super irregular, but he has good stats from Colorado in past two season and he is former CGY goalie, so they could take him, plus last time Coach Hartley like Berra a lot and he has been coach in Swizz league so he know Swizz players well.

Stalock was put in waiwers too, that probably mean that TOR is looking new goalie trade. Rinaldo could be good fit to Wild who need that kind player in they roster.

Look like Berra is not in waiwers after all.

Böedker did go to Avalanche, dam it, i wanted see him in Wild! Hartnell still available, but look like we try get RNH or Yakubov from Edmonton, lol i dont like that at all, is RNH better than Granlund? dont think so, and Yakubov has been flop in Edmonton why he would play any better in Wild, ofc there is a lot examples how some player career has spark after trade, but usually it situations where player get more ice time in new team, Yakubov has always got good ice time in Edmonton with three different coatch. Has been super quiet as i waited. 40min left.

EDIT:

WTF??? Pirri go to Anaheim exchange of 6 round pick? FLA gave 40+ point player for only 6 round pick. Wow thats great trade from Anaheim and we again lost oppurtunity to good solid third/second liner

Yeaah Bäckström to CGY now i have reason to watch Calgary games again :-) hopefully they give chanse for Bäckström, i bring him back to my group so so happy that CGY take him and would be super happy if they give him chanse to play too. Will keep Dubnyk also but will waiwe him if Calgary will give 10+ game to Bäckström.

This is the type of goalie you need to go far in the playoffs. Considering the level of play vs the Caps, the Rangers are lucky to have this guy as their backup.

http://www.tsn.ca/raanta-comes-up-big-rangers-beat-caps-1.448282

Sure Raanta is great goalie, he single handled lead Ässät to Finnish serie win. His stats from regular season in that season 45GP 21-10-11 5SO 1,85GA 94,3% and in playoffs 16GP 12-4 1,33GA 95,4% (both GA/SV% in playoffs was new finnish records old record was in name of Bäckström) Havent watched him so closely, but watched highlights and what i can see is that he can be irregular sometimes, but in other hand, its super hard to stay regular if you play only once in month. He has potential of NHL starter, and if i am correct his contract end and someone could give him opportunity to be starter, example Arizona or Carolina (if they not re-sign Ward)

Just got watched Wild last night game (was in visiting friend this weekend) and wow what a win, was not our best game of year, far away from that, but was one of bests games from Mikko Koivu, he was beast in that game (he gave 5 great assist where player should have done goal and one hit in the pipe), and finally got reward when Dumba gave great pass in PP. Was my season favorite goal https://www.nhl.com/wild/video/koivu-evens-the-score/t-277443718/c-42195303, game was so exciting, most exciting game of year and when Koivu made goal i went grazy, i have so hot when i have runned around my house and jumping like kangaroo. That overtime almost killed me, but Dubnyk saved game, sometimes i give a lot shit to Dubnyk, but he has great abilitity to keep us in games and now he stoled victory to us. Good that we won it that game, we had so much opportunitys to put puck in the net, but both goalies played super well. I have liked our new coach Torchetti also, i like how he keep cheering to our group, how he talk all the time, sometimes i wait that he should do some line changes when we play couple bad powerplay or shifts, but then player show why Torchetti stay patiance with them when they score, i like how he run 4 line and not only two as Yeo did, our PK suck, it has given 8 PK goal from last 13 opportunity, so our PK is not even 50% lol, its scarys me and a lot.

Bäckström (CGY) might get start in game against San Jose in Monday. Will be fun to watch Calgary games again and you cant even imagine how much i have already waited to see Bäckström back to net, i so so so hope that Bäckström play so well that he get new contract to NHL, many dont believe his chances, but Calgary would get great back up goalie on Bäckström for coming years, yes he is 38, but so what, Roloson played when he was over 40+ and if i am correct Thomas won his Vezina in age of 38. With 1,0 milj dollar you can get very good and solid back up on Bäckström.

Dam it, we lost, i think we played better game than we played against Toronto or/and Buffalo which both we won it. All goals which Dubnyk gave was easy goals and Allen made couple great one in other side, sometimes you lose because goalies and sometimes you goalie stole games, today Allen played great game in St. Louis goal and St. Louis won it, it was very equal game in other areas. It was Wild 9th game in 15 day span, so i was very happy to see how well we played, before in these kind situations we has played very poorly because we has been tired, before when we allowed easy goals we stoped playing in Yeo time, but now we keep pushing it, we never give up in that game, even that we lost this game, this game gave me more hope and confidence than those past two victory. I hope that we give next start for the Kuemper, we need two good goalie, yes Dubnyk stole Buffalo game for us, but Kuemper saved all shots in St. Louis games and kept us in game and was playing great hockey, i still keep hoping that Kuemper could play better in longer periods, always when Kuemper gave little bit pressures to Dubnyk he start play better.
