Format - 

Add Map -> Map name  + URL to download the map - if not in our download section, upload and share URL.
Remove map -> Map name

 

Can provide multiple add/remove maps in same post.

Also, wouldn’t mind this Baserace switched with the Baserace we run now as @Snake in the Grasssuggested. I would suggest to leave the player count the same because not everyone likes Baserace ?

A few maps that fellow players asked for cannot be added to Jay1 for various reasons, such as crashing the server or being a buggy map. And other maps need a break.   

 

Glider: crashes server

Railgun: Too laggy

Mlb_helpsdeep: Buggy map + crashes server (last allies spawn is f*kd) + no anti rush. Axis engi can go down the well and straight to the cave and plant dyno. map over. 

MLB_minastirith: Overplayed, my ears bleed with players complaining constantly when the map loads. 

Hydro Dam: No antirush. 

Radar: Not suitable for a server with double Jump. (unless double jump is replaced by something between  single jump and double jump) 

 

I will add more map names if I can recall.  but these are some map names and the reason why they are not getting uploaded on the server. 

 

Let's wait for new rotation.

Can we get the ETBeach back that has anti rush so the bots don’t finish the map in 3 minutes? Also can we bump the player count up so we see this map a bit more.

Shame, too, because it's a fun map. The better fix would be not losing the flag once it gets captured, so neither team gets immediately spawn killed trying to get out of the spawn

Then object also need to be little further from spawn. Gotta ask if someone can make anti rush. We can try this map for small population like under 30.

  These handful of playable maps , at some point getting mundane. We can try some laggy maps like railgun and 2tanks for a little change ?

 

P.S. : Railgun is super laggy

Regardless of the choice of maps, i wouldn't suggest to turn on / turn off the double jump, on any of the servers. It is the core of the mobility we are dealing with, once it is defined on a specific server, i would suggest not to touch it anymore.

 

For example, festive map North Pole had double jump disabled on Jay1 and it was ever so frustrating.

Might as well not include the related maps if there is no other way around.

I agree with your opinion; I'd like to see the map more often.

ETBeach is a map whose only weakness is the rushers.  I think it could be used as a replacement for Haunted Mansion.

I think Haunted Mansion would be an excellent map if it was seasonal (for example, just for Halloween, or until Christmas, Easter, etc.).

What is the size of the maximum map pool size anyways? I feel like i'm playing the same map 2/3 on a single evening.

Maybe add some extra maps if possible ofcourse ?

Yep. BBA, Oasis, Marrakech, Italy, G_rush and Capuzzo are the ones that are almost always up when I join

Not sure about the maximum map pool size but currently i think we have 29 maps in the rotation. but it depends from player amount what maps get played, smaller maps are skipped with higher playercount.

I noticed it as well, a long time ago, when i was always connecting around same time every day, it was always playing the same maps. i confirm it's a true phenomenon.
