Format - 

Add Map -> Map name  + URL to download the map - if not in our download section, upload and share URL.
Remove map -> Map name

 

Can provide multiple add/remove maps in same post.

As much as I can find things to complain about with maps, I'm pretty happy with the current rotation. Add Minas back and it'll be close to perfect

the basic map structure is goldrush type, but unlike Teuthonia, it is a very traditional German architecture.

The map allows various routes to obj, it is wide enough to allow large player number, it has its own sounds (like Transmitter) and own textures, so it feels pretty fresh, and completely playable, bawts have their waypoint and work fine.

Also old players don't know it because it was created after covid.

 

I have suggested it several times, and though i was never told why, i guess there is a reason for not making it into the rotation. It was designed by @papywolf so i played it on the server he manages which runs in Nitmod, but i assume it would run fine in Jaymod (tbc).

I personnally don't like Minas, it's too linear and when it's packed with players it's super hard to move forward as an axis. So much explosions, poison smoke everywhere and other stuff.

This frankfurt map looks nice. Never played it or heard of it. Would love to play it, but I can also see a bit of an issue if those two bridges are the only way to get over to the other side on a full server. Maybe it could be implemented with low player count to test it out.

Oh so it has more routes than the two bridges? Sounds pretty good then

Yes, indeed, the map works very well under the Jaymod and Nitmod mods, except for the small problem for the players, the hunkmegs. Forced to increase them, but it's not too serious .

There is that one chokepoint that Axis often has a hard time getting through but otherwise, I like it because it has good opportunities for every class and skill. Sniper, Engi, Covi, etc

I think another map to replace is Oil Kombinat. It's easy for axis to win if they camp the rooms where you're supposed to blow up the machines. I suggest maybe replacing it with the map Egypt, I only did it once and it seemed like a good map for Jay 1.

Axis often shoots itself in the foot by retaking the flag, moving their spawn back out to the original spawn point, leaving the objectives open for the Allies
