von Rantala Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I am sad..... Yeah im still sad also. Already waiting for next season. Probably will follow Anaheim, Hawks serie when i have time, i hope that Kime (Kimmo Timonen) got his Cup, it is his last season and he is my big idol, real leader and player who really really earn cup, after my team dropped i usually watched team where is some of my idol who havent won cup, so now its time to cheer Chicago, Anaheim is ok too when there is Vatanen. I watch World Championship tournament also, and Finland made new World record of shutouts almost 300 min from Pekka Rinne and Juuse Saros it was more than 3 game lol Juuse Saros is in my mind best goalie outside of NHL and it will be insteresting to see what Nashville do with him, when Rinne is they number one goalie, probably Saros will play next year in AHL and in 2016-2017 with Pekka Rinne in NHL. Jussi Jokinen (FLA) our Captain in this tournament and Pekka Rinne Juuse Saros Leo Leksa Komarov my big big idol and very loyal to National Jersey, came to tournament from Toronto Maple leafs and started in Fourth line, (we have only couple NHL player in this year group) and never complaint and now he play in first line. true leader and i have always respect how he always come to national jersey, with Petteri Nummelin and M.Koivu always came when asked. (now Koivu is not in roster when it was full before Wild dropp and Nummelin is 42 year old already. Left to right Jormakka 25, Komarov 71, Palola 24, Hietanen 38, Lehterä 21, (this pic is from last year) 1 Quote
Platinum VIP Aft3rmath Posted May 14, 2015 Platinum VIP Posted May 14, 2015 That game last night took 3-5 years off my life and it wasn't worth it cause we lost in the end. Quote
hobbit Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 That game last night took 3-5 years off my life and it wasn't worth it cause we lost in the end. Even though I picked NY to be in the conference finals before the playoffs began, I was rooting for the Ovi and the Caps, shame they couldn't squeeze one in during the first few of OT when they were dominating 1 Quote

meow Posted May 17, 2015 Author Posted May 17, 2015 Canada is doing nice against Russia They're dominating. And Canada only has like 3 players from the Olympic Team of last year. While Russia has alot of their bests (Ovi, Malkin, Tarasenko, Kovalchuk, Bobrovsky) One more period to go and Gold it is. Quote
von Rantala Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I think Anaheim will win Hawks if coach keep overplaying those four defenders, there is no team who can win cup with 4 defender, in the end they go tired and they start make mistakes or lose best touch from offencive side. This is last season when hawks can win cup, before they have to make a new rebuild because salary cup, last time it take four year to win cup again, but this time i think it take at least 5-10 year or more. Let see, Kings is in problems too with Salary cap, because look like it will stay same and they have to re-sign Williams and Toffoli and they need more wide in defenders group and offencive groups. Wild need to trade Vanek and buyout Bäckström to get more space to salary cup and look out new offencive defender (maybe Mike Green) and new number one center and put Granlund in wing. Granlund need new contract too. Quote
von Rantala Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Anaheim have very talent defencive group, they have defenders like Vatanen, Lindholm and Fowler who all have potential to win Norris trophy in some season and they have maybe best defencive defender Beauchemin in group, they can win cup in this season or in next season. They salary cup situation look little bit better too . Quote
