Fire Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Hi everybody!! I played ET 10 years ago and would like to play it again!! So fun!! I have good computer with win 7 on it and good graphic card; I5 2500K - 8GB 1600MHZ DRAM DDR3 AND R9 280X Video Card + SSD 950 pro DISK I'm living in Montreal and i connect to a US server 8.9.4.227 ANd i get very LOW FPS like 15 in some parts of the map! Almost unplayable. What can i do to make more fun to play?? Thanks a lot for helping me! Quote

TKS yes in config just write seta r_primitives 2 or in game /r_primitives 2 (this will save it to the config used on that server so if you connect to another server you might have to type it again) PS: I checked, it is r_primitives 2 (so with s on the end) Quote

I can play with 76 FPS constant!! Thank you all!! only problem is i am KICK OFF; it says REMOVE CLANTAGS!! How i do that?? Quote

Leader RedBaird Posted November 4, 2014 Leader Posted November 4, 2014 Did Papito's config have a set name or seta name with Papito's fa tags? I don't think that he wanted you to copy his whole config, just the graphic commands, maybe. You can also start ET and in console type /seta name Fire. To avoid a warning or a kick by the server, do the /name Fire that Xernicus mentioned when the server gets mad at you. You could also pm a copy of your config back to Papito. He should be able to spot the problem quickly, it being his config. Quote
