Any advice is appreciated Have you tried the Duolingo course for Polish? I'm not sure how effective it is as I'm a native speaker but doing the exercises should still end up helping. There was a good resource for people looking to try to learn Polish in a non-traditional way, however it isn't available anymore and it won't be until Jan 1, 2017. Another downside is that it isn't free.
