Panzer priority pwned by bot..

Hello.

 

As the title says ,when playing with bots (on jay3 ) random bot joins soldier and takes panzer away from me !cry flag

And i was wondering maybe it is possible to do something about it?

 

Idk maybe the same goes for flame and mg ,but i dont use them so often.

Higher Admins can say whether it is ok for you to put bots spec so you can take their weapons or not.  In some situations on some servers you then can't put that bot back on the team to fix the teams.

 

A more general case for this method is when a player complains that a bot has a heavy weapon.  

 

I would vote yes for this, but I have not seen admins higher than me do it, that I know of.

On Jay3 (at least), it is fine to !put the bot to spec to change his class. More often then not, you'll have another bot coming within seconds of putting one to spec, but if not, just throw him back on the team.

This. Also works for flamer as far as I remember, always do that on NoQ Don't forget to put it back in its original team afterwards though

Jay #1 does this.  I have put bots to spec and later needed them to fill the teams.  When I put a bot on a team, it just goes back to spec.  Maybe I just need to be persistent!

Nope it normally shouldn't take panzer back in its team, and if it happens you can put him spec until he drops it. At least that's how it works on NoQ, but I rarely have to put him spec twice he usually drops it the first time

Flag, I laughed so easily because you had just been awarded a Joe Dirt Zinger.  We don't see them every day, which makes them more delightful when they do occur.  

 

I might have realized what is happening during your panzer-tug-of-war with the bots on Jay3.  When a human leaves your team, the server might follow a rule that reduces the heavy-weapons-count for your team, and you lose the panzer.  Then the server decides to add a bot to reach the minimum-player-count for your team.  That raises the player-count above a heavy-weapons-threshold, so it gives the panzer to the bot that it just added.

 

The bot is an innocent third-party in all of this!
