That would really help Chicago. They are coming in the playoffs with a losing streak...but Nashville too.

But with Kane, they should be able to move to next round. BUT...it's the NHL playoffs...anything can happen!

Two MVP Finalists

Anze Kopitar

Why not in Playoffs

Offencive group was not deep enough that Kings have chance to go Playoffs and it was too big loss when Kings lost Voynov and Martinez, so Kings need one to two forward and one defender that they can come back to playoffs in next year.

Two MVP Finalists

Zach Parise

Mikko Koivu

Playoff question mark

Our defencive group is not so offencive, we have a lot good defencive defenders like Scandella, Spurgeon, Brodin and Prosser, so we need more offencive from even one of those.

Total Points 25,5 (24,5)

Season MVP

Pekka Rinne

Two MVP Finalists

Roman Josi

Filip Forsberg

Playoff question mark

Rinne havent been same Rinne as he was before he injured, he was only .910 after he came from injury, but he can get back his game and then Nashville is hard team to beat, but team totally dependent on Rinne, there is no other team in NHL at the moment who is more dependent they goalie than Nashville, even that they have very good and solid defender group also.

Total Points 22,5 (19,5)

Season MVP

John Tavares

Two MVP Finalists

Kyle Okposo

Frans Nielsen

Playoff question mark

Halak didnt put great numbers in regular season but he always had been better in playoffs, question mark is Defencive group, i think defender group need one to two defender, but i can be wrong, havent see a lot NYI games.

Forwards 9 (8)

Total Points 28 (26,5)

Season MVP

Rick Nash

Two MVP Finalists

Cam Talbot

Derek Stepan

Playoff question mark

Because Cam Talbot played so well when Lundqvist was out he is second MVP, but Lundqvist will start playoffs, NYR can get very good prize from Talbot in next year, question mark is that, can NYR find offencive from they blue line.

Defenders 7 (7)

Forwards 8 (5,5)

Total Points 24 (19,5)

Season MVP

Andrew Hammond

Two MVP Finalists

Erik Karlsson

Mark Stone

Playoff question mark

Someone from defencive group have to raise his offencive numbers that team are not too depentend on Karlsson, but biggest question mark is can Hammond continue his amazing game in playoffs too, if not Anderson is a lot better goalie than ppls think.

Philadelphia

Final Ratings (my orginal rating from before season predictions)

Goalies 9 (7)

Defenders 7 (9)

Forwards 8 (8)

Total Points 24 (24)

Season MVP

Steve Mason

Two MVP Finalists

Jakub Voracek

Claude Giroux

Why not in Playoffs

Team secondary goalies was huge disappointment, without Mason injuries team probably play in Playoffs now, they need couple new defender too, losing Timonen was too big to team and no one was not able to take Timonen spot what he left.

Pittsburgh

Final Ratings (my orginal rating from before season predictions)

Goalies 8,5 (7,5)

Defenders 7,5 (8)

Forwards 8 (8,5)

Total Points 24 (24)

Season MVP

Sidney Crosby

Two MVP Finalists

Evgeni Malkin

Kris Letang

Playoff question mark

Because salary cap difficulties, Pens have lost they width in they offencive lines, now they are too depentend on Crosby and Malkin, after Kunitz they dont have start status winger as in past Pens had those start status wingers also, defender group is ok, but miss injured Määttä a lot. Someone from defender group is must to take next step.

San Jose

Final Ratings (my orginal rating from before season predictions)

Goalies 7 (7,5)

Defenders 6,5 (7)

Forwards 7,5 (7,5)

Total Points 21 (22)

Season MVP

Joe Pavelski

Two MVP Finalists

Brent Burns

Logan Couture

Why not in Playoffs

All start go in wrong way in summer camp, when they take C from Thornton, it was second time in short period when SJ take C from player. San Jose badly need new defenders, i think you cant blame only Niemi for this season, in save% numbers he played better season than last season. Nieme was Vezina finalst two year ago, and he is still good goalie, but new goalie can spice team. No need to hit panic button, just trade or sign couple new defender to your group.

St. Louis

Final Ratings (my orginal rating from before season predictions)

Goalies 7,5 (7)

Defenders 9,5 (9,5)

Forwards 9,5 (8,5)

Total Points 26,5 (25)

Season MVP

Vladimir Tarasenko

Two MVP Finalists

Alexander Steen

Kevin Shattenkirk

Playoff question mark

Goalie situation is only questiom mark to team, team have a lot width in offencive and defencive groups. Most deepest lines in NHL, but there was minor reasons why i didnt give 10 in the offencive and defencive groups. Those are that third line and third defender pair are not best thirdline or third pair in NHL.

Link to orginal prediction http://fearless-assassins.com/topic/61635-nhl-season-2014-2015/?p=563564

Tampa Bay

Final Ratings (my orginal rating from before season predictions)

Goalies 7 (9)

Defenders 8 (7)

Forwards 10 (8)

Total Points 25 (24)

Season MVP

Tyler Johnson

Two MVP Finalists

Steven Stamkos

Nikita Kucherov

Playoff question mark

Bishop havent been so good as he was in last season, Tampa have better defender group than they had last season but all Bishop numbers have been worse than last season, but he havent play poor season. Goalie situation is question mark.

Toronto

Final Ratings (my orginal rating from before season predictions)

Goalies 7 (8,5)

Defenders 6 (7,5)

Forwards 6 (7)

Total Points 19 (23)

Season MVP

James vn Riemsdyk

Two MVP Finalists

Phil Kessel

Jonathan Bernier

Why not in Playoffs

Toronto was too hasty when they fired coatch Carlyle and after that they just was not able to win games, team roster is better than outcome, couple trade need to do, but no need hit panic button what Toronto do too often, one to two man in defence group and one solid center and maybe one winger and team can come back to playoffs next season, ofcourse coatch choise is most important.

Link to orginal prediction http://fearless-assassins.com/topic/61635-nhl-season-2014-2015/?p=564684

Vancouver

Final Ratings (my orginal rating from before season predictions)

Goalies 8 (8)

Defenders 6,5 (7)

Forwards 7,5 (6,5)

Total Points 22 (21,5)

Season MVP

Daniel Sedin

Two MVP Finalists

Henrik Sedin

Radim Vrbata

Playoff question mark

I think Vancouver is in playoffs because they coatch, they defencive group is most weakest from those who is in playoffs, they dont have offencive defender in group, and they was 19 in allowed goals so defenders are not so good in own way either, so question mark is how Vancouver defender will play.

Forwards 8,5 (7,5)

Total Points 26,5 (23)

Season MVP

Alex Ovechkin

Two MVP Finalists

Braden Holtby

Nicklas Bäckström

Playoff question mark

Can Washington get help from second and third line, now they are too depentend on they first offencive line.

Forwards 8,5 (6,5)

Total Points 25 (20)

Season MVP

Blake Wheeler

Two MVP Finalists

Ondrej Pavelec

Andrew Ladd

Playoff question mark

Team can suprise many, they have two very good offencive line and good third line also, question mark is team young defencive group and how is in net, team can share work load with two goalies.

Flames take the first of the series!..., I know, a long way to go, but still a great start for a young team that lacks playoff experience.

Daam was great game against St. Louis yesterday, we had our chances to win game but we just didnt put puck in the net, Dubnyk gave couple easy goal and we lost game, it was goalie games and this time we lost because poor goalie game, but Dubnyk take couple big one too, but Allen win game to St. Louis, i had hart time to sleep last night game end (01:15 AM Finnish) time and i was so disappointent that it was hard to get sleep, in my mind we was better in that game we had our chances to win games, its remind me a lot about Colorado games from last year, when we was better in game 1 and game 5 but we lost those, but it give me more powers too that, we can win this serie if we keep playing like we played last couple period, but we need better game from Dubnyk, good goalie game is key to wins in Playoffs.

Go Wild go!

Btw Darling wil start in Game 3 for Hawks, Crawford is good goalie and can bounce back if he get chance, but it was not huge surprise to mee that he had problems, sometimes he is hot, and sometimes not and then there is go a lot goals, and he should have better stats when he play behind best defence in NHL but he still havent been Vezina finalist. But it will be interesting to follow how things go there.

@Meow what you say on my Team when you now saw our games? I think we was better in game 2 than we was in game 1? What you think about our chances now when you have seen couple our games?

They're playing well. I've put them in the final so their chances are good :P

They've won a game in St.Louis and that's what they had to do. Now they have Home Ice Advantage.

On another note....Can't believe the Jets lost in the last minute, damn it :(
