Kepar Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Just wanted to ask what do you use for signatures. I'm guessing Ps but any other program, and with what is the easiest to make one? Quote
CruelKind Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Personally: Photoshop CS5 Gimp and Photoshop are most common, Gimp is free I believe?... Jaisc PaintShop Pro is good too 1 Quote
Antichrist Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 When I used to make my own signatures on other forums, I used Photoshop CS5 as well. Quote
Kepar Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 Is it easier to do it with gimp or Ps? Even though I'm guessing it turns out better with Ps Quote
CruelKind Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 It's easier to go with what you first learn on, so each to their own. I started with Photoshop in 1998 and have been using it ever since. Quote
Chameleon Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I use aurora and photoshop.. Sometimes Paint also Quote
SiD Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 (edited) I use PS CS5 extended Gimp is great for a freebie starter. If you would like some practice with a photoshop like program check out https://pixlr.com/editor/ It's very basic and less functionality than PS, but it's a great tool to get an idea of what you'll work with. Plus it's web based, so you can use it anywhere. I use it when I'm at work and need to do quick edits or sigs. Edited March 4, 2014 by SiD the Vicious 1 Quote

Kepar Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 I also forgot to ask what is the most usual size of signatures? Quote
Dare2BeFair / Captain. Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Gimp is great for a freebie starter. Imo in some ways yes. But on the other hand, gimp can be more technical, and therefore more useful. Gimp can turn out just as good things as CS6, just doesn't have all the filters etc. Quote
Xernicus Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I also forgot to ask what is the most usual size of signatures? "Your signature may contain: • Up to 2 images • Images up to 600 x 150 pixels • Up to 3 URLs • Up to 20 lines" I believe most sig images are 600x150 in size. 1 Quote
