spilled coffee on keyboard :(

Dry it with a piece of paper then put it upside down on your heater. Epic fix for all wet electronic devices.

Or just open it up and dry everything inside

Agreed 100%.

There will be multiple sheets of thin plastic that need to be cleaned, and dried. At the same time, you cannot get the circuit board wet. The plastic can get wet with no issues, providing you use WARM and not hot water (I don't know if it'll melt with really hot water or not). The sugar/cream/oils in coffee will lead to the sheets sticking in some places, and not making contact in others, which will lead to some keys constantly pressing numbers/letters, and others having no response at all..which is probably what you're experiencing now.

Hmm. This is may sound a little extreme, put put it in a dishwasher, it's a tried and true method.

I'd suggest taking out the circuitry and washing it separately (not in the plastic case is all). Of course, this is assuming you have a membrane keyboard- if you have a mechanical keyboard, this method will be tough.

Some articles about how to do this "properly":

Good luck! :D

So a,w,s,d all work? Great! You can still play games. :)

Yeah but the bummer is, I use the other side of the keyboard to play games, like the up down arrows and such haha.. I went out today and got a new keyboard, but the only place open was a biglots and the only one they had for sale was apparently made for infants haha, but I guess it is better than not having one..

I know. You told me this. I was trying to make light of the situation and a joke. Obviously failed. :(  And maybe it's best to you start with an infant one. Hehe!
