BAMA Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I have seen these vids,,,real easy to get kills on some servers where settings are ALOT different than FA. Can't remember the server,but,i had about 528 kills with arty and panzer(arty would take out 7-13 at a time in most cases)so these videos are nothing more than blood pumpers that only get you killed when you attempt to be like them. Well, an unwritten rule of frag movies is that you can't put stuff from public servers, only from clanwars. So even if they don't make mega-ultra-kills, just looking at who some of the victims are, and thinking that those players would outaim anyone on a typical public server, that is the amazing thing. And of course you can't compare players from different 'eras' and games. So it doesn't make sense imho to ask whether Raziel would own or not nowadays in ET. That doesn't do justice to him, as it has been said. Quote

Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Well, an unwritten rule of frag movies is that you can't put stuff from public servers, only from clanwars. true. scrims are/were usually based on specific server settings used commonly for scrims only. these would affect the interest of the vid since everyone had zero xp to start with, as opposed to pub servers and players with 100k xp and panzers everywhere. it is/was a true test of skill. and like it was said before, you can't compare players from different eras, pc's and internet connections alone have changed way too much to compare.
