Cannibal Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Hostess is shutting down and liquidating all assets. If anyone is especially fond of Twinkies, Ho-Hos, Ding Dongs, or those delicious fruit pies you better go out and get them while they last! http://www.hostessbrands.com/Closing.aspx Quote
Corey Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 It's going to be like zombieland! Scavenging the world for the last twinkie! Quote
GraveDigger Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 wonder bread is on its way out also i think Quote
b0rR*4cHo Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 ive honestly never had one. they are just like eating a vanilla cake though right? i guess i should get one before they are gone Quote
I am Lee Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I will goomba kill the person who buys the last boxes of twinkies and cup cakes. Quote
Cannibal Posted November 17, 2012 Author Posted November 17, 2012 I won't miss Wonder Bread, it's horrible. Quote
Revenant Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 People around here cleaned out the twinkies from every store they could touch, and I saw a full parking lot at the hostess bakery outlet store. People were walking out of there with 2-3 bags stuffed full of whatever they could get their hands on. Simply crazy! Quote
Sn8keDr Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 i did find 3 boxes but they will not last Quote
Levi Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Cousin was a district manager at hostess, now he has to find another job. Quote
Ken Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I wonder if that twinkie on top of the chalk board in the chem lab at my old high school is still there. If it is its a relic now. Quote
Krayzie Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Someone else will buy the rights and start making them all over again. That's no problem. The problem is the near 19000 without jobs now. Quote
Dddrgn Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 they taste pretty nasty and are awful for you anyways. Good riddens ^^ Quote

I agree with you on this point. Its such a same, especially in this economic time for so many people to lose job. Hopefully they will be able to find new work. Quote
