random letters with numbers connecting to jay1

Was someone messing with the jay1 recruiting server earlier, this is the first time seeing something like this.

I checked some topics from past,it isn't first time we have problem like this,someone is probably trying to hack our server.

Lol, those silly people. Its to block people from joining the server. It adds a "connecting" player for every open slot essentially filling up the server.

It's technically called a DDOS (direct denial of service) attack. Which trys to overflow, or keep people from joining the server.

We had attack like that on one of My clan's servers.

 

I banned every connecting player and They didn't come back.

If this happens again let me know. They are using proxy to get around and I might end up banning full range of that proxy service.

i'll try to camp jay1 bit more might be in the server next time, and note someone/ tracker for exact time
