Trick and a question

Hi,

 

I play today on Jay1. And for the 3rd time, I can disable a airstrike can with a shot. I shoot on can, hit the can and that destroy can...

 

My question, does work on other mod? If yes, what mod. An other question, do you know if that work on smoke gaz can and smoke poison gaz can?

Didn't noticed that would work on silent mod, def doesn't on etpro, but as far as for jaymod goes, u can cancel it by simply shot it couple of times, as for the smoke and poison smoke goes, u can't disable it with shooting at it.

I want to know if i can disable and airstrike when i shoot the "can" on other mod than jaymod (because that work on jay1). And to know if we can do that for grey and green smoke.

I think its impossible to disable smoke\green gas canisters other than pressing F and throw it farther away, when its just deployed.

You can at least shoot in jaymod the airstrike canister, covering with your body in silent and kicking in nq. Not sure if laying down on it helps in all mods.

You can cancel an airstike by shooting, stabbing, or hitting it with flame at the right angle. However you must do this almost immediately after it is dropped or else it wont work.

Conversely, you can throw airstrike canister at an enemy (indoors) and then shoot it to inflict damage on him when he is close to it. This is a lolz'worthy kill IMHO, as Fape can attest to.

in nq you can kick enemy canister and it will change colour and become your airstrike works great and shocks the crap out of the one that tossed especially when you kill them lol

You can Occasionally hit it in silent but the target to hit is so small its almost impossible.

Have you ever tried crouching down on the supposed target area of your own airstrike canister? A bit quick and weird but I think that will also cancel your airstrike call. Never tried it.

That is correct. Stand up in the can air strike few moments before it explode and you are going to cancel it.

Only if the server is configured that way. We tend to not do that since it's a good thing to try to cancel it. I love to see when my teammates try to sacrifice themselves for the other. It's just a good team play.

 

For the technique, the fastest way is to kick the can under an object (tank, truck, rock) or indoor before the sound of the planes start. If you want to disable it by standing on it and you think you have enough "protection" to do so, stand on it until you ear the planes. Then step off of it and it will be denied. If you stand on it while the planes are coming, it will explode on you. Normally not enough to kill a full health bar, but enough to put you down close to 20ish. That last trick is also tricky... If a field throws an arty and the planes aren't yet ready, if you stand on it and try to do that trick, it will blow up and you won't have a chance to step away. You can still try to time it properly but you have to be very fast.

 

It's the same for NQ except that when you kick the can, it becomes your team's color. This option isn't activated for the Silent servers.
