ajnl Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Einstein, Newton and Pascal decide to play hide and seek. Einstein is it, closes his eyes, counts to 10 then opens them. Pascal is no where to be seen. Newton is sitting right in front of Einstein, with a piece of chalk in his hand. He’s sitting in a box drawn on the ground, a meter to a side. Einstein says “Newton, you’re …terrible, I’ve found you!” Newton says “No no, Einy. You’ve found one Newton per square meter. You’ve found Pascal!” Source One of my teachers at school told me this joke, I thought it was pretty funny 2 Quote

Leader RedBaird Posted September 29, 2012 Leader Posted September 29, 2012 Hey, you say "Pascal" and I think programming, not Physics. I'm the wrong kind of nerd for that joke. I'm going to look up the Fortran Unit now. ...google, google, google...hmmm, never heard of "Fortran Fruit" before. Quote
Kat0n Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 1N/m²=1 Pascal ... this one was pretty obvious, even if you didn't know the unit, not really a nerd joke But funny one Quote
