The best part about this is that the percentage for the PC has been going down. The first time I saw this PC was 13%, and that was about a week after their whole no dedi server announcement. Although I'm thinking the only reason it's going down now is more new console reservations and a probably little new PC reservations, not so much canceled reservations for the PC

Just learned the following from Public Chat with IW:

-Dedicated server questions were greeted by being escorted out of the chat.

-Max players for all versions is 9v9. Yes, I said 9v9. No More.

-No record feature in MW2 for PC.

-No lean in the PC version (Mackey-IW: The game is not balanced for lean.)

-PC Game is not yet finished* LOL

Source - Best Buy Developer Chat

Basically they hurried and finished the game and want to get it released then they can add things like Mods, maybe dedicated servers, etc later on for the PC. [Patches]

Reminds me of another fail of ETQW 18 slot max or something. They don't learn from their mistakes and which makes old games like COD 4 and W:ET more popular haha.

Last 3 online games that have failed:

ETQW

Wolf 2 - I hope they make it free like W:ET.

And now:

COD 4 MW 2.

FourZeroTwo on dedicated servers: http://www.mtv.com/videos/news/453113/why-no-dedicated-servers-for-modern-warfare-2.jhtml

BullShit on everything he said, I think 18 player limit, no mods, no dedicated servers is a fail enough. Watch them add this later in Patch 1.5 lol

"all the things we thought we were losing we're not acutally losing.. just changin the way u play multiplayer..".. doesnt really make sense to me xD

reason why is that he said something about joining public games that are already in progress hassle free... hasnt call of duty been doing that over the years with dedicated servers? how is this hassle free when this method has been going on for a good while. i mean, u already join public games that are going on with a dedicated server. yeah, the only hassle that u have is u may have to wait for a space if the server is full, but that usually doesnt take long. and if it does, u can just move on to another server on the list. usually with non dedicated servers on consoles, it takes forever to join a game if it cannot find enough people to play with or if it cant find any matches. so to me.. that is not hassle free.

but if they are so confident in their hassle-free service, shouldnt their IWnet handle more than 9v9?

and to me he just seems to fixed on IWnet, so that tells me he doesnt play PC online at all, or not enough of it anyway. he said if we dont like IWnet we can complain to him to make servers better.. why not just complain for them to scratch IWnet and bring back dedicated servers since they are "all open ears" xD

the concept of what he is going at should of just been left on consoles. cuz thats all they're doing, bring consoles to the pc for some odd reason.

only positive thing i see is that it is light on admins on maintaing servers. cuz you know dare and founders have to maintain 192863917231 servers for FA (yeah.... random number.. more like 11-12..) and it is less stress on them if something f***s up on server or server lags n stuff... and worrying about costs.

but i am pretty sure that other clans or people dont mind running their own server for their clans use or their own personal use (not saying that FA has this issue cuz i am not too sure xD)

Pissed at this no lean shit. Lean is hardly ever used in the first place and the people who do use it get little to no benefit except in special circumstances. And most of those take place in competitive matches...

Anyone know where their headquarters are? I would love to see some people do some sort of demonstration in front of it.
