=Death Hunter= Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Everytime I get on ebay I spend $800. I now consider my ADD a serious handicap due to my impulsive buying habits and the availibility of pretty much anything I want. Its like fricken wal-mart. You go in for milk and bread and come out with a new tv and $1500 in groceries. Like today. All I needed was door sill covers for my Challenger. Well i got those...and a mandolin, a guitar, and a set of mud flaps. Wtf Quote
KevinBacon Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Thats some serious coin you're spending : D Quote
=Death Hunter= Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 Shouldve seem the tab from buying motorcycle parts Guitars, 3 violins, 4 metal kazoos, an electric kazoo, chords, microphones... the list goes on Quote
Panini*Hobbit@mp3 Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I guess if you have the money, you might as well spend it... that is unless you intend to save up for a holiday/new car etc. Quote
Wifestein Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Such a waste, you should use the money to see the world instead. That's if you love to travel like me =P You seem to have some kind of buying stuff addiction lolol Quote
WeetBix KiD Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I window shop on ebay. Not really for myself but for the kids MaKys Mum is addicted to ebay.... His dad said he has to keep working just to support her addiction lol Quote
PiaNist Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 i'm a regular ebay buyer & seller......most of my accessories are from ebay ....i love buying online...it's so easy especially if you have paypal....and best part is when you anticipate the package/s & wait til it get delivered to your doorstep..it's so exciting!........so ebay could be evil sometimes but satan (in your tag) is too much 1 Quote
Saizou Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I buy on ebay from time to time, but rarely anything over $50 (including shipping costs). I can understand the temptation but 3 violins in one go is way too much. I usually order video games that the local sellers overprice as hell (I usually save up around 30% doing it that way, but sometimes even over 50%). Quote
icky?/ Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I never bought anyting on e bay so I was wondering: never had any problems with the quality of the things? Like if there broken or something. Quote

It is one of those things that come down to trust. You have to trust the person you are buying from. Ebay do have some security in place. But in certain circumstances sometimes they cannot do anything. My mother in law and sister have both lost money because they have paid for items they have won, then the seller would delete/remove their ebay account and not send the item. This was a few years ago now so Ebay may have changed their member set up now Quote
TulsaGeoff Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I used to buy everything years ago from eBay. Now I've realized a can sell anything at a pretty high price and someone will always buy it. Quote
