beedub Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 There are so many posts here that i cannot read them all to make sure I am not duplicating information, so hopefully I am not. i use Webroot since it takes care of viruses and spyware, but I have not been that impressed with it. Have used AVG in the past and it is a great product, but a resource hog. ESET is great for both using fewer resources and catching viruses. Mostly you should just check out this link. I like the VB because they show both reactive and proactive results, and them plot them. I will say, stay away from the big names, you basically just buy their great name on a crappy product. http://www.virusbtn.com/vb100/latest_comparative/index Quote

asp Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Am I the only one using Eset Nod 32 here? Oh, I also use Comodo firewall and Spybot S&D Quote
+fluffybunny+ Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) Kaspersky I also use Malwarbytes' Anti-Malware. P.S. Download CCleaner. I cleans up old/partial registry files. When it's life or death on ET every little bit helps. http://www.piriform....CFYcZQgoddy8mpQ Edited May 19, 2012 by +fluffybunny+ Quote
