Why is KILLBOX empty :(?

for some reason my version changer wont work so i cant play HC NO MARTY MIX (my cod4 is v1.7). But everytime i go on killbox its ALWAYS empty.

I thought it was popular, so why it it empty?

The version switcher didn't work for me either. I have a double install of COD, one with the 1.6 patch, one with 1.7.

 

If TDM is empty, you can sit and wait for players to join...

People don't stay long enough, you should try to invite people you come across on different servers ( without recruiting) make new friends and invite them to our server Also camping the server would help from time to time. I haven't spent much time on COD4 lately, been playing MW2. I will be on this weekend

I camped on it this morning for a while but didn't get anyone else to join.

When i camp the server and get new lower level players joining, i have to let them kill me otherwise they leave I can only do that so much before i go insane and start slaughtering them back

That's what I did when we first started cod4 server Making server popular is not easy task but destroying server = 1 day task lol

 

Advertise and camp There are many general gaming forums where you can advertise our forum and server IP. Use those and advertise

I've found camping works but it does take a long time, I was on the other night for a while and people do show up but it is slow and will be for a while. You can work on something else while you wait for people to show up. I've done work, practiced guitar...etc.

 

I have the CD version of COD4/win7 and the version changer works perfect for me. Maybe the problem is the different game versions? OS? I'm not sure we've identified the issue yet.
