JohnWayne Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 I managed to sneak my Nikon in to the concert, cameras were not allowed at that time. I have several more images from that concert (tattoo you tour) and many other artists including Bob Dylan, Jethro Tull, Yes ...etc .. will post more if there is any interest. Quote

JohnWayne Posted April 10, 2011 Author Posted April 10, 2011 (edited) Yes, Steve Howe 1978 Fort Worth, Texas I would walk into a concert with 2 35mm Nikons and a medium format twin lens .. go right up to the stage and the police would make everyone else sit down in their seats and leave me there .. guess they thought I was with the band .. hehehe it worked out great --- back then to get pictures in low light you had to push the film (increase sensitivity)-- grainy, yes, but got the picture Yes, Jon Anderson, 1978, FortWorth Edited April 11, 2011 by JohnWayne Quote
JohnWayne Posted April 10, 2011 Author Posted April 10, 2011 (edited) Harry Chapin, 1979, Dallas, Texas I had seats in the middle of the floor. When we got there our seats were missing, replaced by some lighting equipment. Standing there thinking wtf an usher came up and asked if that was our seats and if so to follow him...he seated us on the front row so no whining from me. This picture was taken shortly before he died in a car accident He is known for songs like -- Cats in the cradle, Taxi and W O L D ... it was a great show!!! Allman Brothers around 1980 Dallas Texas Gregg on keyboard and Dicky Betts on guitar (with hat) I didn't always get a great spot .. as you can tell on this one Edited April 10, 2011 by JohnWayne Quote
