200 isnt much for a good one id save up 350 too 400 so u can  get a real best.! i like asus!!!

I'm going to tell you my story about what happened with my monitors.

In 2019, I think it was, I bought an LG 32-inch 165Hz monitor. Then I thought, I can buy an LG 27-inch 240Hz monitor (always used).
My eyesight started to deteriorate with the 27-inch monitor, and I thought, why not go for a 32-inch 240Hz one! (So I sold the 27Hz monitor and kept the LG 32-inch, of course).

I bought a Samsung G7 32-inch 240Hz 2K monitor (used, of course). At first, it seemed faster; I don't know what happened, but I tried everything to fix it (ET always loaded slower with the Samsung), so I experienced lag, even when playing games at 1024 x 768. It seemed like something was affecting it when it loaded in 2K from Windows 11.

And I went back to my old LG 32-inch 165Hz monitor (with G-Sync). You don't need anything else! I assure you, old and cheap, but perfect for this game.

i don't think anyone asked this but were do you want to buy from is the real  ? here i mean we could go ebay get you a 2th hand one we could go walmart get you one that easy to return if something wrong with it or we could go just about any were see how your in the US  lol

anything that 27in and up and can do  120hz is going to be the best you can get for ET  there some really cheap options you don't really have to break the bank for a  monitor to get a good gaming experience as long as you can get more than 60+ FPS stable  any one of them will work just fine for ET  just do your reading and if you have any ? just post a link to what your thinking about getting and i'm sure someone here will have something to say about it

Not seeing it here, but your gpu has a say what you can run in max hz. Buying a overkill monitor wont give you the max performance if your gpu can't handle it. A DP port is for today, if you only have a hdmi port, forget the "new" monitors.

 

I have atm LG Ultragear 27¨ monitor that could handle 160 hz, BUT my gpu is the bottleneck and dont have the DP port, so I can go at max 144 hz.

 

This is the first and most important step to consider.
