Im having a hip replacement tomorrow scared to death about it i keep telling my self ill be ok this will be my 3rd time under an in surgery but not for same reason. anyways im 25 and needing a new hip reason is i slipped my growth plate when i was 12 i fell off a semi trailer who knew i would be feeling the pain from it years later anyways i might be back as soon as surgery is over or i maybe dead who knows. 12 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

"Slipped capital femoral epiphysis ... is a medical term referring to a fracture through the growth plate (physis), which results in slippage of the overlying end of the femur." It can cause many problems while growing up and when living with it in adulthood. I am sorry to hear that you have borne such pain for so long.
