Let me explain it another way: I'm running debian linux on both computers, so no .exe files. - early 2022: installed ETL on a laptop and copied all config files from my PC to laptop before travelling - late 2022: copied all config files from my PC to laptop before another journey - late 2023: I wanted to make some funny videos: * hosting a game on my pc, I can't connect from my laptop due to weird network protocol difference * updated ETL to 2.81.1 on my pc * trying to update ETL to 2.81.1 on my laptop, despite doing everything right ETL on a laptop still reports 2.76 * got fed up with this, connected a laptop over ethernet to my network and hosted a game on a laptop (no more wifi lag) * can't join from PC because player/profile uuid is the same * removed all profiles on my laptop and created "test" ones * now things work perfectly, I can join into hosted game from my PC and I can shoot some scenes from OBS - late 2023: things are absolutely fine for some time - 2024, a few days ago: accidentally ran ETL on a laptop not from etl executable but from my custom bash script which does nothing more than: LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib32/libXext.so.6 ./etl +connect "b2.clan-fa.com" +com_maxfps "125" +r_swapinterval "0" LD_PRELOAD <- loads 32bit graphics library ETL couldn't start without (old thing, now can run without it) ./etl <- executing etl binary (something like etl.exe on windows, probably) connect command and two graphics commands This doesn't mean joining Beg2 from a laptop exactly messed up XP, maybe there was something else I don't remember, or a weird bug I couldn't predict. From now XP on beg2 starts counting up from zero, XP on jay1 remains unaffected. This seems like a server side glitch or something. It shows 71 days of 'playing time' (connect time). Your level 2 admin is still on the GUID, but some stats are off. I wonder if you somehow reset your xp? ADDED: here are the two relevent commands help: help for 'resetmystats': Description: Reset your statistics: SMG kills and deaths, K/D rating and PRW rating. // your smg stats were not reset Syntax: !resetmystats help: help for 'resetmyxp': Description: reset your own XP to zero // your XP seems reset Syntax: !resetmyxp Your records are normal for your admin level, smg kills and name, BUT XP-saved is very low, perhaps only from your last session, from about 2.5 hours ago. I don't see any other playing records for your IP. There are no records for the first 3 octets, only for the first 2 of them (for other players). Your Beginners#2 records seem "normal", except for the lost XP/Skill records. We need Silent-Experts, like @Gengis and others to comment on these finding. I had later realized that he might have been absent from the server for more than 30 days. TBS and SL records for that name don't go back more than January of this year. @qrzy Were you absent from Begin#2 for more than 30 days? That would explain your loss of XP. The FA-Clan members lose their XP, too, if they are absent form a server for more than 30 days. Not on all servers, it seems! ADDED: I was just told that this is not true for Beginners#2: " absent from the server for more than 30 days. " AND a Beg#2 Leader just told me that he (qrzy) plays there every day.
