I can t really post the process because it is restricted in size. This video was originally longer but had to edit it to 9sec to load on forum. This device is called a Bialetti Moka pot. There is ton of video on youtube but the process is pretty much always the same. Here's a short i like; how Nonna makes coffee. https://youtube.com/shorts/_SqYwFo1qGM?si=IjlyVNCJW2fgf_Ie 4 Quote

Coffee is different too, stronger then a regular coffee also less "neat" if i can say. More rustic. The moka pot itself is not very expensive, there is various brand and size, i wanted the original one made in italy. I got the 6 cup size you can make like 2-3 cappucino size coffee or 5-6 espresso size. I also use french press filter to avoid having ground coffee in the pot. It s kinda tricky. It s easy to burn or mess the coffee and need a little bit of patience. I was intriged and wanted to master the art of the moka pot 🤷♂️😂😂 the story says that every italian house owns one So maybe there is someone over here that has good experience with it and knows all the secret hahah Quote
PHNTM Posted Thursday at 12:06 AM Posted Thursday at 12:06 AM (edited) This is how people traditionally make coffee at home in portugal (where I'm from) and Italy too I guess. I always have a bialetti at home.. most times I don't fill the coffee compartment completely to make a weaker coffee and drink big mugs of it:) Also don't forget you need a coarser grind for these. Yes, most video i saw they put a mount over the compartement soo i tried it that was first but it way too strong. Soo i put like 5/8 now and coffee s a lot smoother. I been using pre grind lavazza but i guess i just been too lazy to get my manual grinder out 😂 i blame the super automatic espresso machine. Quote

It s nice but don t expect this to be the best coffee you ever had. It s different and enjoyable but to me the traditional method and a bit "manual" way is what appealed me. Quote

My old attending used to bring me Lebanese coffee, and I’ve been searching for how to do it and this looks like it! 1 Quote
