I'm hoping this is the right place for this. Ever since I have built my new pc every time i move around there is a line that runs from the bottom of my screen to the top and stuff because sharp almost like my monitor is constantly refreshing the screen but it hurts my eyes happening every time. Any help would be appreciated much love!

Sounds like screen tearing which happens when the gpu and monitor is out of sync.

Please could you tell me what your Windows display refresh rate is set in Hz?

Also your graphics card software settings specific to ET?

In ET on the console could you write these commands and hit tab and tell me the setting.

/r_displayrefresh

/com_maxfps

/cl_125hz

Also did u update your graphics card software to its latest version?

A quick Google Search finds a number of mentions, including where some ET'ers and COD'ers are using it in their configs.

Here is a mention on a COD-related forum : COD4 nades (on OverClockers-UK in 2009)

I'm surprised games based on the Q3 engine haven't been modded with a cl_125hz tweak or similar.
Basically Strider ("str" on these forums) wrote some kind of fix for Q3 that was later included in the OSP mod which would allow players to have 125fps-like physics even with different framerates

An FA=ET Support topic shows that cvar in the poster's config, too.  It was not mentioned in DD's replies to that topic.

Searching anonymously on FA for "cl_125hz" gets 14 results: https://fearless-assassins.com/search/?&q="cl_125hz"&search_and_or=or&sortby=relevancy  I have not read them.

Did u manage to resolve this?

Try using r_swapinterval 1 see if you still have the problem?

Let me know the results.
