Kicking from server when pressing "T" key

Hi guys. Just having a question if anybody had before the same issue as me. For ages I had an issue with sound when I opened ET. On a starting screen I lost sound after about 1 second. Sometimes I reconnected like 10 times and then sound worked. Later on I started using /snd_restart command and it always brought sound back and everything was fine until next opening ET. Few weeks back it stopped messing after sound and video drivers update (which ware not available for years). But recently (like week or something like that) when I open ET, sound works. Then I join server and sound works until I try to open team chat by pressing "T" key. Then I'm immediately kicked to start screen and if I press reconnect button it goes without sound so I have to use "snd_restart" again. Then I can open chat like zillion times and everything works as it should. Do you think it could be messed by those driver updates? I mean I can live with it. Just being curious if you had ever the same experience? Not having Legacy. Using that 2.60b version if I am right. My comp is like 4 or 5 years old and used just for web browse, movies and ET. No other games (just installed COD World at War few years back, nothing else), using NOD32 AV.

Can u see if u are having same issue on our nitmod server? aka fun #1. 

 

Let's see if i can find the source. AC which i doubt.. is it engine or mod based? Do above and will know soon. Thanks

I tried Fun 1 and everything works as it should. Then disconnected (not closing ET) and went to NQ1 and even from spec I was kicked again. Tried 3 times and all the same result. Took followed screens.

Last time I saw -8<----- crash information ----->8- it was related to a map/pk3 having a sound bug in it related to T/chat and esc/menu

 

Look in your etmain folder for FA_baserace_v1.pk3. This map caused issues for weeks/months to many players. But NQ players were ok, it was an issue on other mods having that file in etmain

 

if you have that map delete it plz

 

if you don't have it, one thing I would suggest is remove (don't delete just move) all maps.pk3's and try to log in and test. Of course keep your etkey, .dll, .dat and .cfg

The map was removed so you shouldn't download it again.

Map is removed from no on and marked has hidden till @DoubleDragon fixes it.

I fixed it few months back. Just need to test it to be sure it runs fine.
