Artisan
If it is what I think it is... then it's an RTS! You posted in the wrong section of forums you administrate, dare! xD But yeah, I haven't played it - but I do love the occasional RTS. Age of Mythology was awesome, Starcraft of course, and now Starcraft
I3lessed
I believe Rise of nations is an rts lol and age of mythology was awesome so was dawn of war and dawn of war 2!
AcidParadox
Â I love RTS games but i suck at them (im not a good strategist lol) i will probably try the rise of nations tonight But yeah, I haven't played it - but I do love the occasional RTS. Age of Mythology was awesome, Starcraft of course, and now Starcraft 2 Age of mythology is great, You will be dragged into the campaign mode since the story is really good and the online is still full of competitive players, but most of them will kick you if you are a newbie. Starcraft is really but really hard, even if you use the "save before getting owned technique" but in the end after you beat it, you feel that you can do anything , ANYTHING! Yeah, I've played through the AoM campaign (including the expansion) a couple times. I only ever played online for the custom maps really, I dabbled in the regular matches but never became very good. RoosterCogburn
Yea its a really fun game. But the games can be pretty long. Me and my friends have LAN parties every Saturday night, we use to play RoN many years ago, some of the matches we would play would last for several saturdays, spanding 20 or even 30 hours long sometimes. Another great one if you like RoN is Empire Earth II. Similar type game where you go through the ages but its quite a bit more fast paced. Its not just a race who gets tanks first. Raziel
I remember that game, was kinda fun though I never played online. Maybe I find the CD somewhere.
PHANTASM
It doesn't have monsters. Maybe you are looking at Rise Of Legends or a similar game. I still play this game probably once a week. If anyone wants to play let me know. It's fun. You can customize it hundreds of ways, I like to play in the Industrial Age as Germany or Russia and attack the rest of the world on the "Big Huge" map. You can have 8 countries of you want. Only problem is unlike a FPS game you have to play from the start, you can't just jump in and out of the game. Maybe Dare can set up one of those Hibachi servers for us.
Raziel
Does anyone know how to put the following off? When I start a single player game it really seems like I can't control my nation because everything goes automatically i.e the workers build something, the barracks creates units and the library makes its own developments . Only my troops are not moved by the AI. But I had the full control over the game in the tutorial. What can I do to change it?

Ah problem solved.Do never enable the co-operative AI !
