It's an old post but.. xD Yes i played it!! it's a good game i like it ^^!! i have time of not play it.. becouse i played with a friend when he come home... ^^! but now we play Counter Strike Source in lan... btw... if u want to play someday tell me and lets kick some ass!! How to kill a weekend, and still think its friday nite Somebody finally took risk, mixed adrenaline in, and came up with Rise of Nations. I love the 'true to form' RTS games. I cannot stand games that add in 'mystic' units such as preachers/monks (ala empire earth). And the strategy from the 'cards' and how a player can 'attack' from different pronvences really added to the element of 'oh shit' Now a game I played way back in 98 was called Enemy Nations. The short of it, the game had crappy FPS rate, horrible story, and no missions. Gameplay though was better. Mainly ground units, rarely used or needed naval. SPACE AGE GAME (played on a planet) WITHOUT ANY AIR UNITS WTF. But, one thing that still seperates the game from rts of today is the use of residential structures, commercial structures and the industrial capacity. Coal, Iron, and gas was mined then sent to smelters or refineries before you could use it in a number of different ways. Had to build trucks to transport them around, which is fun to destroy the 'industrial capacity' by destroying the trucks XD Personally I would like to see a rts game come out with the industrial aspect. Instead of just having resources go to a big pot, let the player do something with it. There is so much more that can be done, but none of the big game companies are ready to 'experiment' with it. WIN.... like the silos... dont like it at all becouse u loss al in... seconds... and forget to hace anti Air machines... becouse they weill never going to be enought to kill all the planes XD! Rise of Nations is a good game.. Empire Earth 3 i think is best than the others versions btw we should install it and have a macht dont u think duck?
