monster asked me this on server and i have never seen a definite answer too this what are the limits of /r_mode _Number   

 

i know atlest i think i know    /r_mode -1  too/r_mode 4   was hoping    . we could chat on this and get a real set in stone answer!  thank u. 

 

 i play in  1440 by 900  60  hz  32bit color  an my setting is /r_mode -1

I play in QHD (2,560 x 1,440) with 144Hz refresh rate on a Nano IPS Display. Your true limit should only be your monitor. I'm thinking about getting myself another monitor with which I can bring my refresh rate to 240Hz for an extra edge but it would be HD (1,920 x 1,080) only.

10 = 2048x1536
11 = 856x480 (wide)
-1 = custom

 

This is all of them. If the resolution you want to play at is not on the list, use r_mode -1 and r_customheight and r_customwidth.

Same here 2k 😁 so r_mode 18 but I got another monitor on the way with an higher refresh rate at 1k so I'm going to be using r_more 16 for gaming 🤫😉

Those values are for ETLegacy. My bad I'm playing on ET 2.60b so r_mode -1; r_customheight 1920; r_customwidth 1080; r_displayrefresh 0.

Yep 2k here too (1440p) +r_mode -1 +r_customwidth 2560.....on a 1ms, 144Hz monitor, i still only use 125fps though as i can jump slightly higher and further with 125 than i can on 144.....so i suppose i play @ 125Hz too as the monitor will drop down to match fps?
