I was riding on the highway and the engine shut off and after i pull over, i see all the oil in the bike caked all over the back tire and the back of the bike. Long story short, i ended up buying a CB1000R. I thought about the CBR1000RR briefly but the power in that bike will peel the paint off your helmet! The CB1000R is pretty damn fast, but its taking me time to get used to a naked bike. Love the speed it has though that is the sexiest rocket i ever seen .. i road a old 600ninja once told my self nope ..!!!!

Sonofdoc
If you know me I’ve wanted a bike for a longggg time, and about a month ago I finally got my starter bike! It’s just a small 2017 Kawasaki Z125 pro with a fender eliminator kit, shorty levers, “racing” tires and an exhaust I put on (which is extremely loud lol). For me it tops out at about 60 MPH with slight wind, but it’s enough to get me around lol. These small bikes like the grom are so underrated! They are so much fun. Next year depending on insurance cost and college I plan on upgrading to a R6 or something like that. Kirkov
Well sometime last year I got rid of both the Honda and the Kawasaki. Neither of them really were good matches for my current riding environment which is mostly urban. Went nearly all of 2021 with no bikes until I picked up a crazy little 1974 Lambretta GP200 that needed a little love. Thankfully you can still source a ton of parts from India and was able to restore this little beast. It's a 200cc 2-stroke so it actually has a little get up and go. Then this winter a friend GAVE me his 2007 BMW F800S. He had tried to change the oil and somehow failed and detonated the engine. I was able to source an engine from a 2013 F800GT which is a direct fit. I did a few modifications to make it more to my liking turning it into a bit of a supermoto with upright bars. It's a blast to ride in the city with a massively torquey parallel twin. Since I no longer have a fireblade will probably have to change my alias to something more appropriate. Hope everyone has a good riding season!
Sonofdoc
My beautiful FZ07! Bought it back in December and I've done quite a bit to it so far. Woodcraft Racing clip-on's, Italian Racing Components quickshifter, Vortex Racing chain and sprocket kit, full exhaust system, aftermarket levers, grips, bar end mirrors, passenger peg delete, etc etc this thing is pretty sick. I think next I will be flashing the ECU and getting the rims powdercoated I had a very nice 2016 R3 at the beginning of last year that I had looking sweet too, that's a story for another time though. I worked incredibly hard to be where I am now
Sonofdoc
Satin smoldering red wrap turned out sick! Took a lot of time and effort but I am very happy with how it looks. ECU has been flashed and I also have installed a few other small new goodies 6
Meatface
Never seen this thread before but there are some nice bikes out there. This is my current ride, 2004 Concours, great highway bike but in the city it was a bit of a handful.

Spent quite a bit of time around the Great Lakes and to Colorado a few times. You're right about being a handful in the city but once you can handle it around town, everything else seems easy! 4

I need to find the rear seat back like yours for the wife but the bike is a lot more fun without her on the back, lol . I had an 1984 Nighthawk as well that I was trying to get her to ride but she was to afraid of it. that was a fun blast around town bike. Nice Ride!!
