I'm having a little problem from 2 days on jay3, I was connected as a spectator for about 8 hours while I slept, when I wake up, I keep playing until the afternoon, with a stable ping of 45-47.
at some point, my ping has risen to 65-67, and after 2 minutes of play around, my ET goes in connection interrupted, and does not return anymore, I had to exit the game, trying to connect again, the message appears awayting gamestate .... 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 etc.
if I connect to jay2 or jay1 no problem
after about 15 minutes if I try to get on jay3 it works, but for a few minutes, and starts making the same joke, it happened yesterday for at least 4 - 5 times.
now it does not happen anymore, and I did not do anything
usually on jay3 my ping is 48, when it happens that I see it at 58, restart the router a couple of times, and my ping returns to 48, yesterday I tried to restart at least 10 times, and from 68, I came back at 58, but no more than 48,
I think a few days jay3 that is in Germany, has serious problems of lag, and also doing the tracer, I note that the problem is almost always frankfurt, someone can explain this problem, I'm monitoring for 1 year and a half ,
having the dynamic IP address, it is sufficient to restart the router to return to the original latency, but yesterday it did not work

Moreover, I am 6 months old that I changed Internet and Router line, it works well in download and upload, and even in game I can not complain, I do not have packet loss, and I can kill, without problems, instead if I use,

WinMTR, I have very serious packet loss problems

look at the picture

I'm demoralized

I add, for example, that on jay1 my ping is stable every day at 115-120, while yesterday I had problems on jay3, entering on jay1ho noticed that everything was perfect.
I have a shit line?
if I call my ISP and I talk to him about packet loss and WINMTR, they answer me saying that if the modem is aligned and the speed test signals the contract band, everything is OK for them,

is absurd, the line that I had previously despite that I played in wi-fi, at the test with WINMTR, the result was better if someone remembers

today I restarted the modem
and I got my original ping back

I just restarted the computer, I went back to jay3, it's been about 30 minutes, and my ping went up to 58

We restarted the server few hours ago, so we'll see if its better now.

I am convinced, that the cause is some new map, or the server has connection problems

I can hit the opponents better on Jay1, who is in NY, absurd

You have reached to your hypothesis before without any solid evidence. I can't change your thoughts but what I can say is - just because you think moon will collide earth that will not happen.

Run winMTR for 100 packets. Your first hop in itself have 40% packet loss.

No doubt Jiren. You over analyze everything and the slightest little thing, you're running WinMTR, buying new routers, etc. One thing that may or may not affect ET is stop installing all these programs that you find that you think are going to magically turn your computer into a super computer. and trying to tweak things all the time. In MOST cases, default settings are just fine. Ping going from 36 to 46 is not something to lose your mind over, for one thing.

Maybe I did not say it clear enough

if I had an increase in latency, in all the servers then I would know that my connection is the problem, but if it happens only and always in the jay3 server, I think it's a congestion of the line when from Milan it is routed to Frankfurt (Germany), if I restart the modem by having the dynamic IP, it assigns me a new ip, which has a different priority when it is going to Frankfurt, gain or lose ms, depending on the address assigned to me.
If I restart the modem early in the morning, when many computers in my ISP's network are switched off, obviously I get a priority and a low latency, I've done all the tests
from the prompt
if I ping my ISP
it returns me 21 ms, it's correct
when in the jay3 server, I have a + 10ms or a + 20ms
my ISP returns me 39ms or 49ms

if a modem restart is sufficient
to re-establish my optimal latency
according to you, could it be the faulty modem?
taking into account the bad results of WINMTR.

could it be a problem caused by the DNS?
I usually use the dns of my ISP
but sometimes I try to play with Google's DNS
8.8.8.8- 8.8.4.4
or use 192.168.1.1
do you think changing the DNS changes something?

Senza dubbio Jiren.

currently I only have ET and win 10 updated to December 2018 version 1809 build SO 17763.195

the accuracy in setting up my "normal pc", without hoping to turn it into an i7 with gtx1080, is only my passion, I do not understand the reason, so you should judge me wrong, here I exposed a latency problem on server jay3, this is not to use any software or special changes, today my win 10, is restored from initial backup, I have a new installation of age, so I downloaded again all the pk3 files, of course, the wi-fi is turned off
is the only connected PC, windows update disabled via external program
and all the processes are turned off

it is my hobby to find out how to run older computers faster
why do you want me to take away the fun?

MTR has always been like this, since they put the new line and the new modem

I had already shared my problem with you, months ago

but I have not been very listened to or advised

indeed, WINMTR returns me very bad values

the old line was better despite being in wifi

but as for shooting, the line works well

and the difference is minimal

between 50, 60 or 70 ms, when you face mid-level players, and with connections with unstable latencies

but if I face a player with a ping from 30 to 50, I notice the difference

they seem a few 10ms or 20, but in a duel with a pro player, they are vital

see if you have an answer?

if my ping on jay1 is 115-120
at the same time on jay3 it is 45-50
always every day

when on jay3 I'm 58-60
or 68-70
at the same time on jay1 I always 115-120

do you have the answer?

fault of the jay3 server?
or my faulty modem fault?

Based on the winMTR - which you are sharing - fault at your modem/router -

Here is example of mine -

in fact, my MTR of the old connection with the old modem, was the same as yours, only 2 or 3 loss packets in wi-fi
but it's normal
I will call my ISP and I will have the modem replaced, thanks for the confirmation and best wishes

Some tips which you can share with others -

1. Higher pk3 will increase your game loading time - cos each time when you join server, it reads all your pk3 causing higher IO.

2. You stream while playing sometimes - that increases your latency time. Even opening youtube causes lag.

3. If your modem or router can't handle good latency - you are going to lag no matter what you - Google Intel puma chipset in modem causing latency spikes.

4. WiFi - interference if it's their - it will cause lag.

5. Back ground processes in your PC - causes lag.
