Popular Post bo0m Posted September 1, 2015 Popular Post Share Posted September 1, 2015 Hey guys, i was eating my lunch today specing on nq1 server, and i kinda got flash about how did I actually started playing ET online. I remember my first game that we used to play in school vs eachother was quakeII if i remember correctly. When i think like this backwards I wasn't some type of guy who will sit in he's room playing PC games. I was kinda rebeliant, every sunday on city stadium watching my one and only football club.. and offcourse i went out much, well too much when i think of it now, i used to go out with friends and come back home after 4-5 days. we slept in our cars, or on the beech. Anywhere we wanted. I was 14 when i started to go out. But it only lasted like 2 years. Soo i was 16 when i started my PC adventure. First games i played were Delta force xd, and my favorite of that time Operation Flashpoint. Was aa great single player game. Soo i was 16, when my best friend came to my house, and asked me I'm im interested in one game, he would download it to my PC, and we can play together. I said suree why not lol. So he downloaded ET and Xfire and teamspeak on my PC. It took me few days to figure it all out, connecting, cmds, setting config etc.. we played on empty servers just so he can teach me of objectives, rules and everything else. After a month, we joined Lost Legion server.. so it was summer, no school, we played like 10 hours a day. After sometime, a guy, member of Lost Legion called Method, started to pm with me giving me some tips and more info how to improve my skills. And soon I became way better than my friend, and after two months of pawning him he deleted ET and never played it again xD haha honestly it's a true story. he switched to CS and LoL and similair shit. And I can thank to that german dude LL Method that i became one of better players on -LL- server. My favorite class was covert with sten, and sniper. I remember on full FG server with xP.Sis, xP. Kafar and my other m8's on baserace i had a record of 80 smthing knife kills. I was proud of it soo much Than life took over my time, i finished highschool and went as assistance on ship. First time for 6 months. Than 4 months contract, etc..to be short, i quitted ET a bit more than 4 years. And I would never download it again, if i didn't watched one night some funny clips on youtube, I wrote 'funny cheat' on search bar, like cheating on your bf , and a video of some noob with WH on ET bumped on my screen then i felt soo nostalgic and started downloading et . Had some problems with instalation, and almost quit, but a friend of mine came in hand and that same evening we were playing on et pro. I don't have to mention my score was K/D rate was like 2/100 xdd hahaha but I finally felt happy playing it again. Than i went search for LL server, couldn't find, tryed to find FG, failed again. So i bumped on DA and PS and find there some old friends from FG. I quitted Dark A.. like in 2 days couse of arrogant admins, and heavy lag, on PS ran into also some friends from FG, they told me what happened etc, so i remembered Sis, ask our mutual friend if he know's where she is playing, and finally i contacted her. So here I am..like in old times..with old et buddies..sadly i don't think i'll ever get my old skill back, but it's nice to make new friends and enjoy my free time here with ya all.. Well, this is my story, how it all began.. if some of you want's to share with us your own ET start and journey, feel free. I'm interested Glad to be here in FA familly. Kat0n Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Uh first game I played was UT2003 in ... 2003 but back then it was kinda exceptional since I hadn't my own PC and my father let me use his once per decade. Once I got my first PC, in 2008, I also got UT 2003 and actually greatly enjoyed some of the online servers. Burn Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Well,i was a little brat back then,dont remember the exact year tbh,and my dad played ET too,so i watched and learned and watched,than i started playing,FG server,played a year,quit,still very young then,and i got my own PC then installed ET too,somehow remember the name of FG server,found it and started playing again,that lasted for some time,made some great friends,then FG died off,switched to DA for a bit then left ET again,actually left online games,still every weekend we shacked up in my dad's old gameroom,him,me,and 8 other friends for a hardcore 7 map campaign We played like that since 2013 i think,maybe earlier,then i really honed my skill (On that exact cvars and weapon damage,i was able to go full ludacris and have as much as 4000xp in 2h of gaming),and then Sis contacted me,told me to get my ass on here,and as I had ET installed already for map tests and cvar test and other stuff,i joined,like why not.And i loved it,saw a lot of old FG members,some other friends i knew,and i just had to stick around,then now I'm here,enjyoing every second of it ! 5 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
