PokingSmot Posted July 19, 2013 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Not trying to be a critic or anything but JayMod is THE worst mod IMO, yet there are still a lot of people that still play it. I think the viet mod isn't popular because not enough people know about it. Vietnam mod has pretty much all the same features of Jaymod + more. I mean would you buy a car with a simple v6 or a v6 with turbo for the same price? I liked Jaymod when it first came out (shotguns were awesome!), however the feeling faded as I found things like shooting myself in the face when crouched, and hit boxes the size of semis were quite a buzzkill. The only downside I find about the Viet Mod is that I never know what colours to shoot at... The Americans are now all camo green and the Vietcong come in like 3 different colours. I have to say my favourite thing about the Vietmod is the relolver... blows people's heads clean off, I mean how many times have you wanted to do that but couldn't?! That vid of the guy parachuting off the LOtR castle map, looked really sweet too. Although falling at that speed would certainly kill you... that parachute didn't seem to slow that guy's fall speed AT ALL. LOL.
