Welcome, fellow member/player! This topic contains some useful information about War Thunder F|A Squadron. So if you want to join the squadron or if you want to know a bit more about our squadron, you should read this topic. What's War Thunder? War Thunder is a free MMO dedicated to WWII military aviation, armored vehicles and fleets (naval forces not released yet). The game enables you to fight other real players in the skies using different planes from 5 nations : USA, Germany, Russia, UK and Japan. More than 100 planes are available, including premium planes. You can do it here http://warthunder.com/en/register-for-free Who can join? Full F|A members and Trial F|A members are all automatically accepted to the squadron provided they apply in-game ofc. Joining the squadron is done in game through "Menu" then "Squadrons", then you must enter in the Find Squadrons text box "FIA" If you're not F|A member you must wait for your application to be accepted before applying in-game. Note: Our War Thunder tag is =FIA= it is a capital i between F&A as it does not allow the | symbol. The capital I appears in game as a straight line. What's the point of being Officer/Commander? Officers can: Accept and decline requests. Dismiss players from the Squadron. Moderate Squadron chat. Commanders can: Accept and decline requests Give members Officer status Dismiss players from the squadron Demote squadron's members (from Officer to Private) Change Squadron's decription Dismiss the Squadron Moderate Squadron chat Other useful information Trial members will receive Officer status upon promotion to full F|A member, however will be removed from squadron upon an unsuccessful trial. Forum users and War Thunder players will not gain any admin levels by joining the Squadron. A War Thunder application won't make you trial or full member and you won't be promoted just because you joined the Squadron, as it's basically a fun Squadron, F|A don't own any server on the game. Anyone who is accepted to join the squad must remember to not put the tag on their War Thunder profile name as it is provided automatically. If your War Thunder profile name is different to that in =F|A= Forums you are required to post here that you have applied so we know who you are and what status to designate. Any question? I've gotten the urge to play War Thunder lately, and decided to fire the game up today. Damn, I suck now... especially compared to when I quit, I'd usually get in the top three players Mk I-IV. At least I can hit a ground target? Even though I got 12th place, still had fun... and took a gorgeous screenshot of my plane: Hope to see you folks back in the squadron soon! Have you guys seen the new game Armored Warfare? It looks very similar to War Thunder and World of Tanks. It would be great if these two would get a third competitor in my opinion. The game looks very promising, I have just gotten it, but haven't tried it yet. Can report after testing if needed. I gotta say, driving all those modern tanks such as the Abrahams and using their many features such as smoke screens sounds very appealing.

War Thunder Gaijin Entertainment announces War Thunder Esports Playoffs

In the world of videogames eSports has gained a major following with big events held across the globe. Today, Russian developer Gaijin Entertainment has announced its eSports league for War Thunder, titled Thunder League. The first round was launched over the holiday break and it has now reached the playoff stage. Eight teams currently remain, warring over land and in the air, all in the same match. For the league the total prize is currently sitting at $40K USD and will continue to grow funded by War Thunder fans. War Thunder players are able to purchase Thunder League Dog Tags with each purchase increasing the total prize fund. As well as increasing the prize on offer, each player will receive rare items, highly sought after vehicles and other bonuses for their participation. Starting from an initial $5K, each time the purse surpasses a $5K level (5, 10, 15…40), those who purchase Dog Tags receive more opportunities to win prizes, rare items and other bonuses. There’re currently two tags on offer, a silver tag for €9.99 EUR and a gold tag for €16.99 EUR. As i have been playing some simulator battles lately i'd thought it interesting to post some of the replay files here so you can watch how things go Just put the replay file into your replay folder in the main war thunder folder and open the replay section ingame and select play. in this replay i shoot down 2 enemies and manage to get out of a violent spin. if you watch the replay i'd suggest watching it in the cockpit view as that is all i was able to see, if you select it and doesnt show the inside of the plane mash the cockpit view button a couple of times and you should be able to see it properly. 2 kills sim battle.rar

Hey guys! I've been addicted to tanks lately, and I've been trying to grind the M60 Patton upgrades (but my gosh is it taking forever). Anyone play 8.0 BR tanks and want to play? I'm not very good and I usually play AB (though I like RB too), but if anyone wants to squad up next week when I return, I'd be happy to play
