Why arent there more rtcw maps on et?

So many great maps..

 

I would rather play:

Forest than fueldump.

Norway instead of that stupid capuzzino map.

I assume cathedral is influenced from church.

Inside maps like SWF or xlabs,castle keep were great.

 

Obviously they are supposedly single player maps,but with a few modifications they would be better than half the et maps out there.

Instead of wasting effort to make lame maps why hasnt anybody simpy made a remake of the rtcw maps?

 

If i remember correctly i played some of those on rtcw online,like chateau,castle keep some others,so they obviously work on multiplayer.

i'm feeling with u there are so much great maps not just from RTCW on jay3 its always the same campaigncycle and they are always repeating... 
it just gets boring... like on the silent server you have so much maps...

The maps that are double are maps that are proven to be good for server activity, less "whining", get suggested etc.

We add maps that regulars would like to see on the server, and most of the time they are popular maps as you can see in both the rotations. Caen, special delivery, adlernest, goldrush, frostbite, warbell, etc etc. you can see on every single server in ET because they are extraordinary maps. Map rotations shouldn't be totally different either, people play other servers for factors like: mod, amount of players, vsays, regulars they know well (<- Big factor for jay1) etc.

If it'd be this simple oh man... To make an actual remake you need the ".map" file. Aka the source files, most of the maps of both RTCW and ET don't publicize their source files. Recently I was looking through the webs and found 3 source files for RTCW: Escape 1,2 and mp_beach (better known for ET players as ET Beach). All of these have ET multiplayer versions. If ID software would publicize all their .map files of their singleplayer maps that'd be nice, but won't happen in a million years. For ET they released the source files of all the 6 original maps back in 2008. You also have player made maps, those source files are also very hard to find. There's a website with 65 source files, which shows how rare it is to find source files.

I figured the reason was something like that.

So instead of creating something new,couldnt people try to remake those maps from scratch?

I mean all those et maps are started from scratch arent they? Instead of coming out with an original idea that a lot of the times didnt work,why not try to replicate what already exists?

Obviously if that were to happen it would be at least a decade ago,but im just wondering why people didnt try this when the game was kicking.

Too much RTCW Maps i want it on all servers, more in silent, hardcore & recruiting:

 

Add Assault, Norway, Dark, Rocket, Escape 1, Dig, village 1 & 2 & my favourite one: Xlabs

Remove: Capuzzo airport to add Norway, Teuthonia to add Assault, pirates to add Dark, Caen to add Escape 1, Venice to add Village 1 & 2, Snatch to add Xlabs, Seawall battery to add Rocket & C2 Missile to add Dig

 

I would like to see this maps here on that servers that i said... cuz there more good maps and to have fun

The others that i want to remove its cuz its too big, so stressfull to let allies to get the obj and tank and also its so easy to Axis and its injustice
