Problem with ET Starter Pro

Hi all,..

 

since yesterday,..I cannot use ET Starter Pro anymore..

(see screenshot)

 

so I've downloaded the last msi file and reinstall it from FA site.

but,...got same error message..

 

I've full admin acces to the folder installation..

 

anyone can help me with this ?

Right click on your ET folder, C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory, in Windows Explorer, then on Properties, then on Security. Click on the Edit button and make sure all permissions are checked Allow for System, Administrators, Users and TrustedInstaller

But... It could also not, since it was already working AND since you already have "full admin acces to the folder".

 

So maybe just uninstall and reinstall the app would help.

Some windows updates, especially large up[dates like a new version of the OS (Creators) can change security settings. I've had to go reset mine several times

You have admin rights to the folder, but are you running the program itself (ET Starter) as an admin?
If not, that would trigger the "write protection" error.

 

Right click the ETStarterPro executable, go to Properties. From there, click on the compatibility tab and make sure "Run this program as an administrator" is clicked.
(Used ET exe as an example)

okay first off for ET Starter Pro you need to run it as admin 

 

and to us it  you need to  patch +connect not patch+start  

 

 

and for some reason alt+z to minimize the game does not work anymore
