Hi guys,

I have not said hello on the forums in a while, so "hello" and happy holidays and new years to everyone.

 

I have been playing regularly on HC and Silent 1 usually 10 PM to 3 AM EST.  I have not been playing as much as I used to but I still log in to blow off some steam.

 

Often I am the only admin on because of the late hour.  So I have found myself with a good amount of responsibility keeping the trolls at bay, the teams even, etc.  It has been stressful at time when players gang up on you and say "bad admin" for example.  I don't want this to turn into a job that is not fun.  Like Gengis said today, having fun is the number one priority and I am going to keep it that way.  But I do my fair share of admin work.

 

There are A LOT of trolls on and I find it hard knowing when to cut people off with a verbal warning or a !warn.  I always give a verbal before a !warn and then another verbal before a !mute and then another verbal before a !kick.  Players fight among themselves.  And then there are players that troll me and some of who, honestly, I do not like and annoy me.  It is easier when there are other admins on who can have your back and support action that you take.

 

IRL I just moved to a new apartment in Philadelphia and it is in nice shape but the heat does not work well and we have had record low temperatures here in the East of the US.  So I have been fighting my landlord about it.  I think this is someone most can relate to around the world.  Landlords or people that rent properties are difficult and only want your money, they don't want to help you have a nice home.  We call them "slumlords" in the US.

 

Hopefully soon I can get my next level as I am a learning admin but have a good amount of responsibility and even @absoluto noticed this.

hello and welcome back

in order to be promoted to level 12 here are the requirements needed.

Guys, I referred wick so I am hoping I can get my next level.  I am alone on the hc and silent servers a lot late at night and do a lot of work in administering the server.  I could use the extra commands to deal with the riffraff.

Its a rough situation but Fresh you could take evidence of those trolling and rule breaking and bring it on to forum that way measures can be taken.

Excellent advice here. And it's good practice to do this too because when you have more cmds you'll need to show evidence of why commands were used

like lazy said  when you doing the  warns and stuff it's always good to  screenshot it bring it to the forums if they already have a troubleplayer report  post it there if they have already been punished for the same thing feel free to mute them just always make sure you get that proof  

 

and if they don't have a troubleplayer report make 1  just make sure you get the proof and the !finger info
