The whole shuffle scenario has been discussed and rehashed several times over... and basically ends up in the same general consensus- it will stay at 15+.

I'm not going to get into all the reasoning behind the decision, but basically the chances of misuse are too high. And with shuffle, misuse = server empties.

Isn't there an auto-shuffle after so many maps are played though?

Let me add this :

Shuffle is not that usefull :

1.The players hate it and complains a lot about it.

2. Shuffleing doesnt necessarily gives good results.

3. The unbalance is also caused by the maps themselves (some are allies sided others are axis sided). Example .... bremen is allies sided .... axis stacked and the allies still win it. Same thing with italy.

 

I was once using it .... i now use it less and less cuz of that.

I have better results by moving players with putteam if required.

Is shuffle done by xp or kd? It seems like with KD things would work well..

What is F|A thoughts on when a shuffle vote is called and it's obviously going to pass (what's the majority required?) but pre-match time ends. Would it be appropriate for admins to force a shuffle as time is running out?

HC should have auto-shuffle every 3 or 4 maps. Sometimes admins have to !shuffle after maps if maps are very unfair. I have never seen a shuffle from a vote before.
