Dont try the installer. download the game in zip file,extract and play.Thats what i did.

Make sure you have the cvar cl_allowdownload is set to 1

Or make sure UT folder is NOT read only.

 

 

PS: The game is based on Q3 engine so many cvars, configs work in UT too.

u can also load ur config from et ... just copy your from et folder and paste it in "q3ut4" folder and play ... open console in game ~ and use config ( for example /exec yoyo.cfg )

Its very very similar to Counter Strike (gameplay feels faster though). I can guarentee if you like counter strike you will like this game. If you don't like counter strike, don't play this game.
