also, Nyquist gets 6 games for this??? are you serious, only 6 six games?

I try say it polite here without curse words, but daam i was pissed off how easily players can walk away with those kind slashes, you remember what Ducan Keith did for Coyle, if not look at this

That was 6 game penalty too, its look like if you are Wild player everyone can really try to hurt you or try to end your career and get walk away with only 6 game penalty, thats so sick. If that slash would happen to Toews or Crosby, Nyqvist would have sit 30 games, and if that player who slashed Coyle would not have been Detroit or Chicago (big market team) player he would have got bigger penalty. Its just so sick how referees and NHL safety judges treat us. Good example is that we get least powerplayes in the NHL, last two games there has been very dirty plays what havent been called to us. Not nice at all, but we keep winning, this make us just stronger. We lead West now for 9 points :)

PS. If that Keith slash would happen in this year, our players would react a lot different way, they would jump on Ducan Keith and Defence Coyle more better, now they just let Keith walk away. Boudreau mark can be seen on that too. We are harder team to play against and you cant walk away on those kind slash anymore. Like we did go defence Spurgeon on Nyqvist slash.

To Nyquist's defense, he's not known to be a dirty player, was never suspended. With his reaction, I honestly believe that this is not what he meant to do.

I think he just wanted to slash him in the chest but failed completely lol

So you think that if someone murder someone first time he should get minor penalty because he is not dirty human? Sure you can go and try to end someone career and try to hit your stick to player eye and make one of his eye blind and because you havent been dirty player you get only minor penalty. That should not affect to penalty if you have been dirty player or not before. Ofc accident happens and if player do it accidentally that should affect to amount of penalty, but Nyqvist didnt apolgize to Suprgeon he just stand and whatched him after slash. Plus you can see that he looked where Spurgeon was and looked on his head, just before slash, so it really was intentional.

Do goals allowed if puck go net and goalie dont have mask?

I believe the rule states, and I haven't confirmed this, if a goalie loses their mask the play is dead immediately, similar to the net coming loose. A goal would not count mainly because the goalie is scared of getting a mouth full of rubber and move out of the way of any shot lol.

Also, the Wild aren't the only team the refs don't treat fairly. I think the refs in general are doing a poor job on important calls across the league.

Anaheim got P.Eaves from Dallas excange of second round pic for the 2017. That was cheap deal. I think Nill (Dallas GM) is one of best GM in the hockey, but this trade not make sense, yes Eaves contract is ending, and his other seasons has been lower than 30 points seasons, but he was hot player, and playing awesome season. He should have added him to trade where he is looking goalie. They think they need goalie, but there is not better goalie in the marked than they have. Lehtonen is good goalie, team defence is just so poor that goalies cant save them. Fleury is not answer, he cant play well behind good team, how he would play well behind bad defence. Bishop is he really available? I dont think so. I would keep him instead of Vasilievsky, yes couple year ago i would kept Vasilievsky, but Bishop has prove himself, two time vezina finalist who has played better than Vasilivsky for three season already. In Nill shoes i would use Eaves to get better defender in group, maybe trade Niemi, and Eaves to St. Louis to get Shattenkirk.

Btw

Yeah in this season we saw a lot non-calls or wrong calls, more than before, but if you would watch Word Championship tournaments, then you would see what poor really referring is, NHL is nothing comparate to that. I have to say that referrees has treat Wild unequally in this year, but still world championship referrees get clear win of competation of poor referres. Then if you would watch KHL, you would laugh how bad referrees can be. Those cant be even call as referrees. I try to find you videos when i have more time, but they cleary favor russians teams in there. Its not just my opinion its fact what have got a lot articles in here Finland (we have one KHL team in there, i dont follow khl tho)

3:07 tripping lol

4:28 Znarok (Coach of Russian) had official prohibition, so he should have not allowed to be contact to team in anyway, or take part of medal ceremony, but he did keep contact to team by radiotelephone and did take part to medal ceremony

From russian game in same year, but not from same game

man those finns sure are dirty players lol

yea, those vids show the refs are either inexperienced or worse, being bought by the other team.

thats sad. most of those calls were ridiculous and aren't even worth calling. they shouldn't have been penalties because they weren't.

Yes in that 2014 finals they was played in Belarus and russian presiden Vladimir Putin was in the spec.

In that WJC 2014 tournament was played in sweden and referress tryed to play home team to win.

Didnt had time to search from KHL, but you got my point, how poor referrees has been in big tournaments in here EU. In finnish own league, they are ok. There is couple referree who is very respected by players in here Finland.

Ps. We signed Ryan Carter for one year two way contract, i am very happy on this move, he has been very good PK guy and fourth liner to us couple last years, i sign him to my fantasy team too ofc :)

We got Hanzal and White from Arizona https://www.nhl.com/news/martin-hanzal-traded-to-wild-by-coyotes/c-287159416?tid=278542340 I think this trade was good trade from our GM. If we will be Champs first round pic will be 30rd choise and we get now maybe NHL best third liner center to our squad. Hanzal is solid 40-50 point man who has played top role in Arizona without good wingers and now he will get good wingers, probably Pomminville and Parise as start and he can make us 0,70 point to us in rest of season and he is very good and solid two-way center. I first tought when we signed him, was great this help us, hopefully we can keep him to us in next year too. Let see, now he have to prove himself and earn future spot in our roster too, could be possible that we cant keep him, but let see. He is probably now NHL best third line center. (Staal and Koivu is our 1st and 2nd line centers)

Bishop to LAK, that was surprising move, are they ready to trade Jonathan Quick?

That's a pretty good trade for your team, Minnesota's lines are pretty solid.

Idk about Quick, it wouldnt be a bad idea for them to trade him for some offense. We'll see.

Was surprising to see Tampa trade Bishop and even more suprising was that team where he landed was LAK who already had very good goalie, plus it can ruin team atmophere if you trade your mvp (budaj) away, i dont mean that Budaj was team best player, but he played great season, came from nowhere and keep team in the playoff run. I think Kings will not get in the playoff or will dropp in the first round.

WSH got Shattenkirk that was biggest trade of season, i think that trade make team a lot better. I think we see WILD vs WSH in the cup Finals and Wild will win it at 4-2.

First game where i saw Hanzal he looked little bit slow, let see how he fit to team, we are fast skating team all our other centers are faster skaters. Let see.

Tampa was biggest loser for sure, they trade they number one goalie and player who played most mins (Filppula) and for Filppula they didnt get anything back because they re-traded Streit to PIT. Tampa will not get in the playoffs in this year and will change coach for the coming season and then it will be hard to get in the playoffs too, because they defence group is not solid, i think they try to get Shattenkirk in summer.

Dallas gave Odya free to Chicago and pay half of his salary, why Chicago always able to do this kind trades and why teams give they players to cheap to CHI.

I did hope that we will take new back up goalie :/ that is our only weaknest.

I am little bit surprised that St. Louis Blues did not make any goalie move. I waited that they might take Bishop in excange of Shattenkirk, it would have been win, win trade to both teams. It will be badle of LAK and St. Louis blues for last place of playoff. BTW St. Louis Blues has lost 4 game straight, let see if its one of Yeo's losing streaks again and how long it will be this time, with us it went couple time close to ten game.

We played our worst game yesterday, but was happy to see Koivu scoring goal, loses not hurt so much when Koivu play well, get goal or point or + in game.

Now i watched Yeo style from different view (STL game was last night) and i see that he is using same style as in Wild. Its very dependent on first goal of game, (we won only 5 time last year when we gave first goal). Yeo's style is very defensive and boring, I hated most that we played so boring and heartless game under Yeo, even those games when we won, was hard to enjoy because it came by so boring style. Yeo style is to hunt first goal, and then just defence, put all five guy under puck in all the time, and when they have puck just baddle in offensive zone corners and wait that enemy make mistake in marking of man or try to make rebount goal or tip goal. Those are three way what Yeo use to make goal, under his style goalies can play very well in time to time, and then dropp to closer to normal when his syle is not working. See Allen and GA% after Yeo came behind STL bench. Or how Kuemper played 3 shotout drow once. When Yeo style working it make result, he did lead us in playoffs three time, so he is not bad coach, i just hated how heartless and how boring hockey we played, and i am happy that we have Boudreau behind bench now. Boudreau have his weaknesses too, he is not good to make tactical changes in middle of game. Thats why Boudreaus teams play so many goalness games in year, (we have played 5 game where we havent done goal and Ducks started last year with 6 game without goal in first ten game) He is little bit slow to make changes what needed in middle of game, thats why he havent been able to win those game sevens in past, i wish he has learned and learn more in this season to make tactical changes, at least he do a lot line changes in middle of game and we won several games because he mixed line ups when needed.
