Vanaraud
My 4Tech X7 cheapo is wearing out, mouse gets stuck even on desktop. So I´m looking for a new one. Probably should get new mouse\gliders also, but as M6980X seems not to have spare parts, then I´m hoping a new mat will fix it. Was thinking about getting those fancy aluminum mouse pads but all of them are too big, I was thinking something <30cm x <25cm would be perfect. And also the price is too high. Corsair mm400 and mm400 hard plastic caught my eye, can´t make any difference between them though. Also Turtle Beach got a lot of praising, again I don´t distinguish the properties of Traction and Drift pads. For now I´d leave out Razer and Roccat products, tried them both, they wore out even faster than 4Tech. Qck is too mainstream... So Corsair and Turtle beach and maybe something from Coolermaster, any other quality mouse mat manufacturers out there? PS using high sens 3.8? and DPI is also 3800 or something. Raskin
Well..I use an allsop widescreen pad $10 allsop.com..is material top with foam back it's approx 9" x 13 1/2" I not like slick pads.no control..had two of these in 4 years..won't wear out...I use stock mouse best for me lol..small and light..got a Razer death adder and logi mx518 I not use.on..my game PC... sensitivity binded 3.5,4.5 and 6.0 depending on what fov. Binded 96,109 and 119. All this works best for me with my style of play.. I also use a dab of silicone on underside corners to stop pad from moving around..I get plenty of kills ..only play ET..not know what you play maybe allsop has a model for you.. St0rmSlaSh
I use a SteelSeries gaming mousepad. I freaking love it! Of course, I do not use it anymore because I got grounded. But, when I did use it, It was an awesome experience http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-QcK-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B000UEZ36W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1457364380&sr=8-1&keywords=mouse+pad+steelseries
Vanaraud
Thanks for the input, was about to go for GLIDE 3 but it comes out its optimised for Optical mouse, mine is laser. Turtle Beach Traction shipping costs more than the mat itself, price coming to 20,- ;which I´m not willing to pay for piece of cloth anymore. So any real choice is Roccat Alumic and Corsair mm600, both are so similar that I can´t make up my mind. What I discovered using clipboard as mousepad, was that I like hard surface with less friction, mm400 would be a choise too. Again its a piece of plastic and too expensive for that. Vanaraud
Did some more digging and ppl were complaining Corsair aluminium mousepads to wore off quickly- withing month. So any real option was GLIDE 3 and I´m not happy with it. Thought it would have less friction, but my mouse still gets "stuck\glued" on it...
