though I’m in this ss lol I’ll say I’m not a fan. I don’t mind bacerace just really dislike that particular version. 
 

normal version is okay so long as the time limit isn’t 30 min. I feel 30 min maps are too harsh for this game. Unless of course it’s a well balanced game and has good progression to it. 
 

i still think we need the map “password” I believe it was called. That one was always fun!

Baserace is interesting when the game can reach higher level of build, with many bonuses and additional perks through synergies.

Did you know that Tower lvl 3 + Heavy weapons lvl 3 brings up a mortar team? i saw the mortar fires, they are cool

Or engy 4 + spawn 2 adds up an additional spawn shack on the left side of the map.

 

It's a total of 40 flags. If anything, 20mins (Jay1) or 18mins (S1) is already too short. I would vote for either:

- increase game time to 30 or 40mins

- keep a low starting game time and have 1mins increase at each flag (a more refined way of adding time).

 

On an additional note, it could be an idea to have a dedicated server for ctf (i.e. replace one of the existing low population one). I know at least baserace and its various versions (xmas, desert, winter, etc.) and BBA ctf.

This is stabby stabby, I would like to reccomend GOLDEN DUNK. I talk about this map alot. Many people that play S1 agree that GOLDEN DUNK is a great map..... except pig

Did a little refresh of maps.

Here are the new additions:

 

Some people liked the more recent version of Erdenberg (with more pathways), so I switched it back.

We will go back to the original version in the future, we can alternate between the two.

I am sorry, but golden dunk will never be on silent1. The map is more suited for fun games special events rather than regular frag/obj gaming.

Interesting suggestion, I had never heard about this map before. Will test it to see how it works and if all good, we can try it on server next rotation.

Damn, I didn't see it. I will add it on server too. I think we already had it on S1 in the past.

Can we please remove the kill scoreboard from baserace?? this feature kills all the hard work of building the base hence the name BASERACE 

 

The mission objective deserves the priority of winning the map as opposed to the highest kill score.
