Popular Post SiD Posted August 28, 2015 Popular Post Posted August 28, 2015 Alright as promised here's a bunch of stuff from our Honeymoon in Vegas. It was a great time, albeit very hot. I'm talkin' 42 degrees (107 F) in the shade. And dry as a bastard, which makes it feel worse. I have a bunch of random videos you can check out. I'll add more to another post. Uh, one of these vids btw is banned in Germany (sorry, blame Blue Oyster Cult), so use google chrome + an unblocker add-on like Hola. Anyhow let's get'r done! This is our Arrival in Vegas. Kris had a limo arranged for us. Dude was awesome. offered to take us on a tour of Vegas and gave us a bunch of great info. The vid is a little long and it just basically driving around looking at all the cool shit. This is the street we stayed on. The famous Fremont Street Experience. It's about 3 blocks long with a huge LED canopy on top. Crazy insane shows go on every night here. THere's also tons of street performers, music, and sadly a lot of beggars. There's also entry way into every casino and hotel in the area. You can drink right down the street if you like, as long as your drinks are in a plastic container. THere's also people constantly ziplining from one end of the street to the other. Expensive but looks like fun. Never got to get on though. (Note: This Vid won't play for German users. You'll need a proxy/VPN or to use google chrome with Hola addon to see it) This was the pool in our Hotel. It had a g'damn shark tank right smack dab in the middle! The coolest part? THere was a waterslide that went THROUGH the tank. I rented a daybed here for $125 (private bed, no lines, no fighting over a spot to sit). Kicked ass. Also, yes I really am that f***ing white. I blend into the damn concrete lol These are some of the performers and crazy shit you'll see on Fremont. Chicks with their tits out. Half naked dudes with borat-like grape smugglers. Armless drummers, Magicians. Musicians. Humans statues and more. Will post more in a reply post once I have the ability. These limits of 15 pics 5 vids suck. Hah! 10 Quote
SiD Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 Alright so this was my visit to the replica of Paris/Eiffel tower. Kristina freaked the f*** out when we got to the top. Major panic attack lol AND I GOT IT ON FILM. Boo ya. The picture of her is absolutely one of terror. But it was a nice view otherwise. THey even had a replica of the Love Locks. This next set is of the Bellagio Hotel. Gorgeous hotel and scenery. They have a fountain show at night that is beyond amazing, which you can see in the video. Sadly I didn't get many shots of the Mirage or the Aria, which are also in the video. Our Limo driver picked us up 30 mins earlier than scheduled and took us on another tour of the town before our flight home. DUde managed to get us to catch the Mirage volcano show, the Bellagio fountain show and the Aria neon fountain. Kicked ass! This is our Gondola ride at the Venetian hotel. Inside is a pretty amazing replica of Venice. They have human statues painted white to pose all day long lol And the fashion stores use real models as mannequins which is really damn cool. Our Gondola ride managed to be private for 1/4th the cost, and our guide sang us a love song. Great time. More to come in a follow-up post. 5 Quote
SiD Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 THis is Caesar's Palace. AMazing looking place. Very nice inside, clean and just beautiful as shit. Next time I come to vegas I want to stay here lol Probably announced this multiple times, but I had to throw this in. I got to see Penn and Teller live!! Awesome magicians/comedians who've been in the business for 40 years or more. I knew quite a few of their tricks, but it was a treat to see them live. The bonus? I got to meet them BOTH. And I have their autographs!!! Secondary bonus? Penn tweeted back to me before the show. These guys are rad. MORE to come in a minute. 3 Quote
SiD Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 This is the last post. You can see every one of my pics in the FA gallery if you like. WAY more pics than what I post here lol http://fearless-assassins.com/gallery/album/946-vegas-honeymoon/ THis last video is NOT really interesting. It's pretty much footage of the airplane flying. A bit at night and some during the morning, including descending through the clouds and finally landing. I just dig it lol 2 Quote

Couple question, i was in Mallorca last may and it was my first time in plane (i has visited in our neighbor countries Sweden and Estonia, but Mallorca was my first trip in overseas) how expensive is to make example one week dripp in Las Vegas? or in USA overall, in Mallorca my budget was 300e and it was more than enough, i got all what i wanted, its my dream to make dripp to USA and Canada, how much i have to save that i can make fun and good dripp? Second question in Mallorca and in Finland too there is not so much ppls what i can see from your videos, was there big waiting times to everything? Mean if you wanted to go restaurant, or Gondola drive, did you had wait long time? 1 Quote

Mean if you wanted to go restaurant, or Gondola drive, did you had wait long time? If this is a dream trip...Go BIG - 2 weeks. Try for mid October into early November. The temperatures everywhere will be the best ( slightly nippy in the Northeast ) Arrive in New York, spend 1 to 2 days. ( Do mostly walking tour. There are several nice Hostels you can stay in) Take Train down east coast to Washington DC. Spend 1 to 2 days in Washington. Catch a NHL game while in town ( the Capitals don't play the Wild but they do play the Red Wings twice in November ) Rent car in D.C.- Spend next 5 days driving cross county. Take southern route and day trip into New Orleans (just hit bourbon street and Treme) on your way. ( stop in Virginia for a day or 2- you'll go right past my house - and I will show you the sights here) Tour the Grand Canyon and then onto Las Vegas. Spend 2 days in Las Vegas. Continue onto Los Angeles. Finish trip with 2-3 days in LA / Hollywood. Fly out of LAX back home. That's the simplified version but you'd have some time to really plan the details while you were saving up. Flight (round trip ) = 1,800 euro Train = 100 euros Car and Fuel = maybe another 1,500 euro lodging = 800 euro food = 500 euro fun stuff = 1,000 euro misc= taxi, subway, souvenirs, etc. 300 euro So maybe 6,000 euro. That's a lot but you might be surprised how quickly you could save that amount if you were really trying. Do it- Don't wait!! 2 Quote

SiD Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 Just to go to Vegas this is what we spent (in $US) $1300 for our plane & Hotel as a vacation package (so we ended up with a 3.5 star hotel) $226 for our penn and teller tickets Plus we had $1400 US to spend while we were down there, and we spent it ALL. Mind you we walked/bus/Taxi'd where we needed to go. Depending on where you stay, food is really the biggest expense. We probably spend $800-900 on food alone. Next time we'll probably shop at grocery stores for quick and easy meals. However, the food we did eat was really damn good. We also spent a good amount on tipping people. Vegas is a pretty tip heavy city with everyone from servers, taxi's, to street performers looking for tips. I'm also a little too generous so it dinged my wallet nicely. Shopping is expensive downtown. There is a nice premium outlet mall that you can get name brand shit pretty cheap. Souvenirs themselves range usually between 97 cents and $30, so it depends on what you want to take home. As for lines, it really depends on what you want to do and at what times you want to do it. For example the biggest line we dealt with for our Gondola ride (middle of the day) was actually buying the tickets. Took about 12 minutes or so. The indoor gondola had a decent size line, but the outdoor was pretty much instant admission. The paris line was non-existant. If we had went at night (Vegas prime time) then it would probably have been worse. Restaurants were fine. Never had an issue getting into anything we wanted. Some places did seem to have waiting lines to get in, but we managed to avoid them luckily lol Not sure what pricing is like in Euro, but that's what we went through total. Mostof that was tax return money with a little savings over the year. Definitely more expensive than travel in the EU, but it's a really one of a kind experience. 2 Quote
von Rantala Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Yeah you cant count all as money, i mean that, you cant count how much everything cost, you dont get money with you when you leave, so why not to use it for good what you enjoy! Quote
Vanaraud Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 So Venice... Did you steal the docs? That shark pool looks wicked also. Quote
