It is a very decent rotation... you're going to get groans... but this is the most popular server regardless and all OBJ oriented.

Do we have a even amount of ALLIES vs. AXIS attacking maps?

 

Why do we have fueldump in there 2x?

 

I see the groans on Minas (HUGE) and Haunted Mansion (which is more Halloween related anyway)

What about Railgun, used to be a good core map?

Bring back Kerkeyra in place of Minas or swap out Capuzzo (where teams get lopsided too easily)

What other maps do we have that have waypoints already? A list?

I don't remember.. does every map have waypoints or do the omni-bots need time to learn and create one?

@Hawkeye14733 fuel depot and fuel dump -- two different maps! However, your map list pulled from trackbase looks accurate -- below is the list (pulled from an earlier post by DD).

 

Another factor generally about ET is that most map creators seem to commonly have allies attacking (at least from my experience/memory) which makes it hard balancing that aspect. I accept we will not appeal to everyone, the primary goal is to get ..most .... people to enjoy the changes and keep things just a bit different while not reinventing the wheel (i think jay1 is popular because it provides a familiar server with decent big maps and plenty of friendly regulars to chat with and frag with)

Has Minas already been removed? It wasnt it the map rotation(after goldrush) yesterday

Yes, I’m pretty sure it was taken out of the rotation for now. Will likely be integrated back at some point soon.

Minas is temporary out to leave room for other maps.

But it will be back in the future 🙂

Hi all,

 

I wanted to know if this map had already been proposed? I think it could be good because it looks like the one in Oasis but more open, which would allow for better team development?

Even though I have always played ET, I never played some maps in the link posted by "Clarke" (for example). I do not know them and I have never seen them here

on F||A.

It would be interesting if those who know them would introduce some of them into the rotation for testing. Sometime a bit news are welcome, my humble opinion.

Flameguards difficulty is not well balanced, it's hard for Axis to go through stage 2 (the building of the gun).

Final stage is also hard for axis, if allies plays even just a bit organized.

yeah i dont think ive seen the map get finished a single time yet 😄

Please God No. That map languished on Jay 1 for years and was finally just recently pulled. Riverport should be next to go

personally i'm promoting Helmsdeep_b4 for the last 2 years: great map with tactical requirement, exclusive features and very good balance throughout the map.

 

Helmsdeep is what Minas (same author) will never be: an almost finished map of epic proportion in Middle Earth context (in its beta version obviously).

 

 

 

I am also a huge promoter of this recent map (2022).

Frankfurt is a classic "tank pushing 2 barriers + obj snatching + truck escape 2 barriers" map (i.e. Goldrush type), with great balance on a sweet Southern Germany architecture.

It also contains special features like ambiance music and exclusive announcement sounds (like in Transmitter)
