JAY2 Maps request

HEy guys i know there is a topic in suggestion about jay2 maps bt i thought to make here so our jay2 admins/regulars can find it easy and can request beside me.. 

 

can u guys plz remove all basic maps like old city/railgun they lag alot and we loose so many players like 4-5 at once... plz put goldendunk and cortex..

 

can u guys add some maps from all this people who suggested..

Golden dunk - No. 

 

Stock maps are mostly all optimized ones. 

Cortex - For few days, yes. I need to find good version for it.

U could add paris bastille into it, it seems like a nice map for the amount of players that are casually on FA, since it doesn't go many times over 40-50 players anyway.

Maybe test the fata morgana as well, doesn't really output much lag, as its mostly just closed.

Does baserace desert still lag as it used to at past over big load?

Other could fit as well such as Dubrovnik, School.

Fata morgana sometimes get stuck and admin have to do !nextmap. Will add it but before that I will add !nextmap to 18+ level. 

 

Baserace is hated map.... good for frag but we add it and then remove it within a week.

 

School yes, I can add it. Dubro people don't like it for some reason. 

 

I will look at map list again tonight or so.

One sided map and spawn killing map... Just takes down server popular by big time.

Map is good but design is odd. It always result in stack and worse ending loosing players on that map. if played balanced it's fun map. I got some idea for that map which i tried before.. Will see how it works out. Will add the map for few days.

As far as i played Fata morgana at other server it wasn't causing any kind of stucks or bugs, that would need to be solved with !nextmap command, tho the testing purpuse of it wouldn't be that wrong for a certain period of time, at the other point, map is kind of  decent and i haven't noticed any kind of lags.

Dunno nowadays about popularity of baserace, but back at the past it used to be one of the better maps players liked to play, maybe a bit of different style of normal to desert could put some refreshment into it? I find dubrovnik not really played a lot, but at other side, its a decent map, isn't small and has couple of paths so the potencial camping isnt always beneficial for the opposing team.

king of the hill is a good map , its good to add some fun maps once in while between obj maps cause now a days jay2 players are more of obj so it will be good to add some fun/frag maps in between..
