That is actually more complicated that just connecting blood-, bone -, cartilage-, and lymph-systems along with the spinal nerves: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_transplant  The brain has many, many more  and much smaller connections than the head does.

 

He would eventually have to re-learn how to move this new body and interpret the sense inputs.  That is, if the head is not rejected by the body.  His disease sounds like one that would make many people desperate enough to try this.

Thats crazy... Mostly the immune systems rejecting "replacemeant" on such a large scale makes me doupt.

Also when just swapping out the harddrive, there could be problems with persons self image, last "Robocop" illustrated it dramatically.

Personally I'd rather have my head put on a psychopathic robot, but that's just personal preference.

This sounds like a really bad idea, I don't have a good reason why atm..it just doesn't feel right.
